Cool video and tune! I think the strength of these drums was that they were not trying to sound like an acoustic kit. They were offering alternate sound sources as opposed to trying to replace acoustic drums. I think people like Bill Bruford, Alex Van Halen, Rick Allen, Thomas Dolby and Howard Jones used them creatively to great effect.

DDR : Brigitte Stefan ......
@ericbgordon15752 жыл бұрын
This is the first video I've seen so far of the SDS8 where they were demonstrated the way I think they should be. Everything else I've watched up to now sounds like the programmers are trying too hard to imitate traditional drums.

Super! Old vintage analog elektronika!! Když to tenkrát začli dělat, byla to naprostá pecka!!! Myslím, že by všem z toho čísla spadla čelist...

No Simmons úplně začátkem 80. let změnily sound pop music. Podobně to bylo v půlce 80. díky Yamaze DX7...
@simmonsdrums94223 жыл бұрын
@@Waclove ano. Akorát, že v druhé polovině 80 let přibyla Simmonsům v podobě jiných značek těžká konkurence.
@simmonsdrums94223 жыл бұрын
