Looking at this jacket for a trip to Alaska and Labrador...and yearly Pennsylvania steelhead fishing...It keeps the cold out as well as the rain?

Hey Fred, thanks for watching our videos. We have to disagree however. We like having gear we can rely on year after year to keep us on the water. We totally understand it doesn't fit everyone's budget though... Our advice is always to buy the best gear you can afford and go fishing!
