JD had his work cut out for him playing Whipping Post with Jack Pearson. A vintage Gibson Les Paul worth thousands and probably a Fender Squier worth (maybe) a few hundred - or it could be a genuine Fender Strat of JDs worth a great deal more, but the point is that's in the hands. We've all seen Jack play an Asian made Squier and blow minds. Great video.

ya know...squier guitars aren't that bad. The classic vibe series are a great example. They're still holding their value. I see what everyone is saying, and it impresses me too. But we're all guilty of buying into the name of something, and the "prestige" that comes with it.

What's up with the sound man ? ? Didn't they have a sound system powerful enough to provide enough volume for the mikes . . . . . sorry for the bummer, but the sound man should've known and had pre-sets for each song. @jamesgibson48668 жыл бұрын
Why do you care what kind of body language a player uses as long as the sound as there? Look at how stoic Derek Trucks is and compare that to the moving around that Warren Haynes does. The product is the tone, the notes, and the feel--not the gesticulations and mannerisms.

I'm a fan of Jack and JD but crappola... Vocals and Drums ...ain't they s'posed to be out front in a mix? I guess the P.A. is less than loud enough
@jacksfan08 Жыл бұрын
The taper was well inside the house stacks and within a few feet of both guitar amps. If the taper had been further away the PA was actually fairly well balanced at this show. I know that because I was there, walked the room while JD was playing to hear the mix and it was a good as it could be in that room. Then during Jack's sit in, I'm right beside the taper and we are both just a few feet away from JD. I'm Jack's cartage guy
