Yes, this original version is my favorite - they had such a comforting sound to them, whatever song they sang. Another really good cover of this song is done by the acapella group, "Pentatonix" - it will also blow you away. : )

There are live ones when they are older but very good. The concert they did in NY in 1980 I believe, you will see them. They had a half a million fans come to watch them.

I would suggest Paul Simons Graceland album. He was heavily influenced by African rhythms and is supported on the album by Ladysmith Black Mombasa. Diamonds on the soles of her shoes is a great song.

This sort of music first existed when I was a teenager. I want always to see how this kind of music affects people today, but my eyes lower so that I may once again absorb the words without distraction, and I can only assume you are sharing it with me, another human being in the world.
