What a thrill I got when I saw a Simon and Simon program showed up in the listing. I always enjoyed their antics and their crack-up mother. The plots had suspense, fun and game scripts and often enough to keep love flowing some hanky-panky thrown in

one of my fav shows, pure episodic joy each week. And if you missed an episode, didnt really matter just watch next week and life goes on. I remember people associated with either A.J. or Rick. I was an "A.J." and my best friend was a "Rick".

I enjoyed this video! Almost as much for the classic commercials, as for the movie. Not one add had a website reference! The world was so much better pre-internet. People complaining about the sound quality or picture quality expect all video or sound in HD. I can tell this is a VHS recording, almost 30 years old. What’s to be expected. Thanks for the upload. This reminds me of what used to be. I wish tv programs were still this good. I never thought I’d look back at the 1980s & 90s as what I wish still existed.

Yea 80s television was awesome! So many great shows and variety: comedy, action, drama, adventure, mystery...and sometimes that was just one show. lol I really miss TV from back then. Fortunately with streaming and shows on DVD, we can relive those old shows...and without commercials this time. 😉

My Uncle Wilson, my dads brother, lives in San Diego and he loves it there. He builds boats and fixes them... boats, Yachts etc... I love Rick in the Cowboy hat 🤠 Thank you for replying, Rodney!

I remember the show Simon and Simon a few years ago it has the cast including Jameson Parker - Gerald Mcraney - Tim Reid and many more it has different characters but the movie Simon and Simon in trouble again it was incredible movie

It's not just nostalgia. I believe a big reason why so many people say they miss shows like this is because the writers weaved values into the stories that resonated with Americans on a deeper level. Not saying they were perfect, but you discovered things like brotherly love, sticking up for one other, digging to find the truth about what is going on around you, and overlooking minor issues to save someone's life. Values like this have slowly been being eroded away in our media.

I loved Simon & Simon,it aired in the 80's in the UK. I watched it here every Saturday morning,i loved Rick's red car. What was it,was it a Trams am?Loved the big button mobile phones they had back then.

I was hired to use my dog for the police dog. They couldn't find a German shepherd well trained enough for this so used good old Dread who was a veteran of several movies. Gerald was really a nice guy, as was his wife. I had never watched the show but sure enjoyed visiting with all 3 during breaks in filming. Dread loved them and Gerald fell in love with him.

Thank you so much posting this! I had never seen this before and really enjoyed it. I love the series and have been wanting to rewatch it for a while now. Sadly it's not on any streaming service so this was a great surprise. I'll be buying the first season DVD in the near future and the rest are on my Christmas list. 😁

I'm going to refrain from watching this right now....Glad it's available. I've been watching Simon and Simon here and there since the Mid 2000's when I was in my early 20's. I'm Now 40 this year and have been watching it more regularly after purchasing the DVD's. I started with a small 10 episode dvd. and purchased the First season and second season. From there I got the entire series 8 seasons rip in original sealed dvd sets. These are not authentic shoutfactory ...a replica. Plays perfectly! I'm on season 5 right now! (BTW: I got my boxed set for Xmas 2019 for $70 USD on eBay) All 8 seasons. Don't pay hundreds for the stuff on shout factory. I did that for seasons 1&2....$88 bucks plus shipping for just season 1 & 2. Get the boxed set on eBay for a fraction of the price. take a look. I'm sure there are some still out there...price should be less than $90 for the whole set.

Down Town Brown AKA Venus Flytrap and the dentist Les Nesman from WKRP. Some trivia that some might not know. Rick in real life is younger than A.J. In 1986 I was working on the Santa Monica Pier and they filmed a episode of Simon & Simon.

Even though it didn't do well enough for CBS to order another one, it was nice to see the boys get the send-off they deserved in 1989 and didn't get because Kim LeMasters was a self-serving douche who couldn't have cared less about anything he didn't develop. How many other shows in the '80s can you think of that were Top 10 hits for 3 years and the network couldn't even be bothered to air the series finale?

One thing that bothers me is how did Max from Hart to Hart win Supporting Actor over Higgins from Magnum PI ? He didn't even seem happy about it. Higgins was way more important to the show than Max any day. I know it was '83 and that but I still wonder how that happened ? maybe RJ has the answer ?!!

Out of all the TV movies revivals from the 90s, Simon & Simon Together Again is one of the better ones. The first Cagney & Lacey one was pretty good, too. Certainly, they were better than The Rockford Files tv movies. I was totally disappointed with them and they were written by the original writers!!

I was part of the 'car crew' when S&S would shoot in San Diego, '84-'87. Fun time, tho unpaid. The Camaros were junk, the Power Wagons pristine inside cuz Mack is a clean freak ..

To me this was significantly toned down from the series. No Rick's Power Wagon, No A.J.'s Camaro Z28. You don't even here an updated rendition of the theme. It wasn't bad, just missed a few of the little things.

Those 80's shows were so coked up and crazy. l just watched a clip of the A Team where Face assaulted a female prison guard and escaped jail. When he was caught, his lawyer was the manager of Motley Crue at the time. I gotta go find that shit and share. It was so funny.

They are never correct. I think it's a crime that someone can't get the words right. It's unfair to the deaf and hard of hearing to have the wrong words. They leave stuff out and they change the wording. Makes me so mad. They work they're just not very good.

Remakes are never as good as the original series. Glad they didn't try, it would never be as good as the original. Season 1 is on DVD. Whoever's holding on to the copyright isn't releasing the series. Very selfish of them.

How could anyone NOT like Simon and Simon! This is only an opinion (albeit, the Truth) BUT... an opinion nonetheless!! Simon and Simon sadly, never ranked up there like Magnum P.I. (anoth er great show) or even Knight Rider (which was a good show, just not a good as the other 3)(and the other not mentioned yet... ...The A-team: takes 3rd) BUT...above ALL, in my opinion, and anyone who watched the show, should agree....Simon and Simon was a REALLY GREAT show, that SHOULD'VE been recognized as just that: GREAT!
