Reading between the lines Brendan isn’t up for the fight. He wants to get sacked and basically said he will still love the owner. He has resigned mentally. Now he just needs to physically leave

The best and worst thing that ever happened to Leicester was winning the title. It was great for us football fans being witness to such a great story, a fairytale season. However, it made people think they’re bigger than they really are. Barring another miracle in another lifetime, Leicester will be, at best, as Chelsea were before Roman, a mid table side.

Rodgers has spent £230m in 3 years on 14 players. Only 4 of those players (£90m of that) have improved the squad. 7 of those players who were not good enough are still at the club, we've tried to sell them but no one wants them and the are currently eating up our wages and squad space. We CAN'T sign new players because there isn't space in the squad for them and thats on Rodgers. It's really that simple. Rodgers HAS been backed and he's messed it up amd put us in a tough spot.

One benefit of the world cup being held in the winter is if any club wants to sack their manager early, like Leicester or Aston Villa, they have a big international break to get someone and get them acquainted with the squad.

All less than big clubs like Leicester with success and Leicester have won the 2 biggest domestic trophies their fans get unrealistic. Leicester City have never been until recently a regular top league club . Leicester are WBA , Leicester are Crystal Palace , Leicester fans should see mid to lower comfortable table position as above their natural status and see that as success.

The difference between Arteta and Brenda- one has absolute expectations the other has little expectations- there is a 9 year age difference- hunger- ambition and never give up is the motto for a 40 year old- Brendan looks like and speaks like he is worn out- would love a pay and go - Arteta looks like he wants to compete and begin the journey

He would do well with a Villa for a couple of years too like he did with Leicester. The past year at Leicester has been dreadful though. If his time at both Liverpool and Leicester is anything to go by, it all falls apart after 2.5 years. His excuses now are even more obscene. He blamed the heat for our performance on Saturday. We're in mid October!

For short term he's probably the right fit for Aston Villa but other than that he's not someone who established the club for long term if something like Spurs came for his services he would've left Leicester soon as possible like how he left Celtic when Leicester came calling
