Smooth is fast, you don’t need to grit and squeeze hard and spin fast on your plant foot and throw your arm out to get easy controlled distance , keep your eyes on the target for as long as possible and when you reach back don’t reach so far back then you literally turn your head around, build the tension between your disc and head then punch your off arm through the door (the door is where you plant your pivot foot) you want to bust through that with your throwing elbow and opposite arm and knee, focus more on angle control and pull through smoothly and you will get better results

@paweslusarczyk10562 жыл бұрын
He threw it with quite some speed, and discs turn more the faster they go. With Simon's power, an otherwise straight flying disc will turn over a lot. He would have to release it on a hyzer for it to go straight. That's why tour pros use much more overstable discs than us regular players. In addition, the basket is a lot lower than the tee, which is why the disc didn't lose a lot of speed and kept turning right

I can get my backhand throws to go right but it’s with quite a bit of anheiser. I don’t get what Simon is doing to make his back hand turn right like that?!?!
@KalenvS2 жыл бұрын
Look for understable disc's. On a right hand back hand, typical disc's will want to end up left (neutral/stable disc's). But understable disc's will want to go right. I'd recommend looking for disc's with something like 4 to 6 speed, 4 to 6 glide, and then - 1 to - 4 turn, with 0 to 1 fade. So a couple examples are a "svea", which is 5 6 -1 0, which if thrown at a 5 speed, will go fairly far, curve right a little, and then finish fairly straight. If you throw it slower it will be fairly straight and fade a little left, and then if you throw it harder (say 8 speed) it will fly pretty far right with no fade left at the end. Second example is a pearl, with 4 6 -4 0. This disc is extreeeeemly understable, and unless throw very lightly will hook right (again with a right hand back hand shot) hard. If you throw it very lightly it will be quite straight, but anything above a 3 speed throw it will go right. I can throw mine on a 45 degree hyzer angle hard, and it will turn into a roller after flipping right/clockwise if that makes sense. Great for shots where you need to take a right corner with a right hand back hand. Basically, if this isn't making sense, learn the flight numbers of disc's, or ask for "understable" mid range disc's. Good luck!
@thebluetarp2 жыл бұрын
@@KalenvS I just purchased a SVEA. Never heard of the company. I’ll give it a shot
@KalenvS2 жыл бұрын
@thebluetarp kastaplast makes the svea, and latitude 64 makes the pearl. Also another thing I should mention, is that softer plastics are generally less stable, while harder plastics are more stable. So even if you bought 2 svea's, depending on the plastic they could fly differently. Good luck, and if you need anything else just @me 👍.

@rooroo536310 ай бұрын
Yes, understable disc
@MrSTAYUP339 ай бұрын
you have to remember that cold be a old disc that has had it flight path altered. the more you used them flight characteristics can change. What starts neutral to overstable can beat into understable. those discs are also neutral in that you can put them on hyzer or anhyzer lines and they stick with those lines.
