Yes! Simon Preston is the best in Bach's organ works in my opinion, alongside with Karl Richter offcourse, listen to his playing of the 'Dorian' toccata and fugue, and the wedge :)

An incredibly strict interpreter of composers, Preston was the consummate organist and choir master. There will be no one like him in our lifetime. Rest in peace, brother.

Cuando escuchamos y vemos todas las interpretaciones de ésta misma obra todos lo hacen estupendo, pero siempre notamos que hay personas cómo Simon Preston que le dan la característica exacta a la que el autor quería expresar y aquí lo comprobamos . gracias

Perfect interpretation,but too fast ,wz Bach every note count , this lovely piece must not be played fast but majestuoso , it is so Bioutifull we don’t want to expedite it ,I refer to Albert chweitzer he played this piece in a majestic way on an old modest organ , thank you my dear 😘
