Dance classes are for the people in the area to train. A lot of these people take class maybe 10 times a week, 150 per class would be insane. It would be the same as going to take a class at whatever dance studio is closest to you, it just so happens that most of the best choreographers are based in LA

I dont think people realize how good of a dancer jade is. The fact that she is trained in ballet/ classical/contemporary dance and she can do this ratchet type of hiphop in heels and every other type of dance in between is crazy. She may not have the most swag when she's doing aliyahs choreo but she has her own style and she can dance every genre damn near perfectly. That's why people love her so much. She doesn't just follow the steps like everyone else. She makes the choreo completely different by getting into character. That's what she has that other people dont 😍😍😍

Omg! That intro speech had me in tears! I’ve always loved dancing! I’ve never taken a structured class in my life but watching these people live in the moment brought so many tears to my eyes. I felt the energy in that room and my soul was so contained on this in - wanting to just break out that I began tearing up! At 38 years old I get to live life in the moment my by watching you guys but GOD know how much I would prefer to be in that setting dancing as if tomorrow never existed! Before the quarantine I was in dance class a lot. Started again after years. I get discouraged sometimes cause it takes me at least 2 or 3 classes to fully get the choreo... But I still try. I dont want to leave this world knowing I didnt pursue what I loved. ❤😌

Pursue what you love. Voice of experience of a missed opportunity. On my 27th birthday while living in Las Vegas I went to a club called G.O. Nuts. After a couple of shots of white tequila I danced my ass off. A gentlemen approached me and asked me if I worked out. Yes, religiously I ran 4 miles a day, an hour and a half of aerobics a day and then swam 50 laps a day 5 days a week. That same gentlemen approached me again later in the evening and told me that I was a good dancer. Anyway, the gentlemen proceeds to tell me that they are doing auditions for fly girls on In Living Color at 9 AM the next day at either the Sands Hotel or the Dunes and told me to wear Daisy Dukes. I honestly did not believe this man. Needless to say I did not audition. A few days later I came across the business card the gentlemen gave me and it read “Talent Recruiter” Wayans Bros Productions. I called the phone number on the business card and this man was totally legitimate. I kick myself everyday wondering what could have been…Well, I could have been dancing with J LO. 2 or 3 classes to learn choreo is not bad. How about 3 months to learn to twerk…..on my bucket list. I know I can’t dance they way I did 24 years ago so I took up poling….stripper pole tricks….yep, at 57 years old. Just wanted share..

I had started dancing when I was 3, and it was the best time of my life, until I was in a car accident in the summer before my Sr year of high school. I miss it more than anything. I have doubted myself for so long. But, honestly, after hearing Aliya talk at the beginning of this video, I am going to go back. She made so many good points in this video, like she does in all of them, but this one really hit home for me. I have been debating on going back for a while now. This just got me so hyped about going again, I'm just going to go for it. It's been years since I've taken classes, but I miss it so much, I don't care if I look like a fool at first. LOL! Dancing has always been a big part of my family, and I have nothing but good memories of dancing for so many years. Thank you Aliya for that push in the right direction. I don't think it should matter what other people think as long as you're doing something you love. I've told everyone that for so long. Now, it's my time to follow those words. I just wish I lived in CA and could go to her classes... LOL!
