I've only iust realised that she only does a 1 1/4 Wolf when she usually does a triple. Makes a lot of sense when you consider the 1 1/2 Yurchenko error in the team final. She is still hands down one of the best athletes of all time. What a woman.

I did like how fluid her transition in and out of the wolf turn was, though. I watch NCAA now, and I feel like the people who do it sometimes take a beat to crouch and start, and it really interrupts the flow of the routine (in my mind), but Simone just kept it moving.

For future reference: she performed 2 1/4 here and she’s always only performed a double turn on floor. Beam is where she typically performs a triple.

Usually gymnasts are completely discombobulated when they go really far OOB and stop choreography for like five seconds. Simone actually did a great job immediately getting back on the floor and pretending nothing happened

Eu acho que ela desistiu pela pressão, pq pela capacidade não foi ! Tanto que só foi ela sair das olimpíadas que participou de 1 torneio e parece que ganhou

Ela não participou de nenhum torneio após as olimpíadas, para de espalhar desinformação, ela saiu pela doença psicológica twisties, que tambem afetou a britânica claudia fragapane, fazendo ela aterrisar de pescoço a paralizando-a temporariamente, ela saiu também pois não quis arriscar a prata do time.

Por um momento ela perdeu suas habilidades devido a saude mental. Nao conpetir foi a decisao mais inteligente. Sua seguranca esta acima de qualquer medalha. Temos que aplaudir uma atleta como esta

I think that’s due to the immensely upgraded difficulty as compared to her 2016 routine. This time she has to conserve more energy to perform her more difficult tumblings.

I believe it was choreographed by Sasha Farber - which was Simone’s Dancing with the Stars partner(and is currently working with Suni).

@@madismith5394 she didn't actually fall, a fall is worth a point, for both feet going out of bounds its 3 tenths and then around 5 tenths off for having that massive slide out of her skill, so it's around 8 tenths if deduction!

O erro não foi dela e sim do solo que tinha muita mola ! Os aparelhos de Tokyo não estavam tá hábitos para as olimpíadas, principalmente as da ginástica artística, a trave era muito mole, o solo tinha muita mola,as barras acimetricas tmb estavam com problemas por estarem muito moles

As atletas do brasil tem que parar de se espelhar e de se inspirar em atletas do passado como nadia comanecci e passar e se espelhar e se inspirar na atleta da atualidade como a simoni biles, não tem jeito esporte é superração se o atleta não quebrar limites vai se estagnar em so fazer parte da seleção e so contribuir pra clasdificar a equipe pras competições o que pra muitas ja é algo louvavel e um sonho eté distante

I really really love her, but definitely it wasn't stunning. Her artistic level in this cop was terrible, mainly in 2021 (in Rio 2016 she was on fire!). Very difficult (and another level of acrobatics), but for me this is one of her "worst" fx

I'm happy she finally admitted she went into the Olympics purely for herself, and that she took a spot from a gymnast who would've been there to represent their country and their team. I'm hoping Simone can straighten out whatever she needs to and absolutely crushes it if she decides to return. Hindsight is 20/20, but owning up to your faults is difficult, especially when you're in a national spotlight.

There's NOTHING wrong with going to the Olympics for yourself. Everyone doesn't see the Olympics the same way. Most people aren't risking it ALL just for their country to get a gold. Live YOUR life!! @@kimik01889 except the whole part of the Olympics is you're repping your country, and in most sports you do so as a team. even in individual events, there are teammates also competing and you are scoring for your country. knowing you're gonna dip out and depriving someone who wants to be there of that chance? pretty stupid.
