He didn’t want her and it’s very sad to watch it all. When I was in my early 20s, there was a guy that I chased and all he did was breadcrumb me. He finally wanted to be in a relationship with me but the whole time he never stopped reminding me that he didn’t want me. Never again have I approached a man first. I like who likes me. I match a man’s energy.

I can relate to this so much, looking back I bent myself backwards just to get some acknowledgement and validation from a guy who didn't even deserve me. I am glad that women are starting to see their inherent worth instead of settling for men who clearly aren't worth anyone's time

Simone get out while you can! She could do so much better. This video coincides with me just having watched Season 4 of The Crown and how (fictional) Prince Charles would throw a tantrum every time Diana got more attention than him. Whether or not this was the same dynamic IRL, the scenes really drive home the message that you need a partner who supports you. This needs to go both ways.

Prince Charles 👑 did throw tantrums over his wife’s popularity. He pouted, and even refused, on occasions, to make public appearances, with her, etc. I know it sounds silly but it is true especially when you realize that Princess Diana’s popularity actually uplifted him and his entire family. They are still living off of her immense influence and popularity. But a jealous, insecure man is dangerous. We now recognize the signs, so we are calling it out early.

If you both don't feel lucky and happy to have each other, walk away. Her time in foster care created wounds that she can't deal with until she willing to look at them head on with therapy. Why is he insecure? He said she chased him and that's what she did. The problem was with the interviewers pumping her up (to be nice). He got her because she is not prototypical in terms of BM attractiveness (flat manly chest, flat backside, 4'8, short legs, muscular body). She has a cute face, beautiful smile and carries herself with femininity and grace...and seems unproblematic. Simone is most likely insecure and probably should have dated a WM.

THEN says they argued about it soo much and so bad they had to take a vow to not argue about it when they got married …..

I can see he's got her only for the uppies she brings his look, career, social life, and frankly she gives him podcasts where he can speak as if she's just the latest ho on his arm! My dad was abused by my mom who was a narc he told me one day they were once in love he spoke fondly of it, he had no idea my mom switched up on him he kept hoping she'd return to the woman he fell in love with he stayed with her for the kids & inspite her abuse never did he call her a bitch or say anything bad about her it was his principle to not speak ill of my mother infront of me nor to her not even after they divorced he still didn't speak that way of her and say how he must've felt on the matter it was a respect thing to respect her who didn't deserve it yet his moral compass on this allowed his daughters to grow up feeling respect was a thing they could count on in the world via his example. I admire this quality of him and am thankful he did that even though it cost him to do this principle at points i could see the struggle on his face at points he wanted to say it then he'd see me and refrain that's strength and I respect him for doing this harder road with showing decorum where my mother did not show him the same in kind. Mr. Simone has a player vibe a vibe that would disrespect her and not even recall he did so in numerous ways she should divorce him save her self and her carrier stop giving him uppies in his states.

Her husband sounds like a child, middle school maybe high school? He's definitely a case study for arrested development. Like bro, every man's a king, you deserve flowers too, truly- but damn, if you don't stop sounding like a 4th grader....... When Simone grows into her own some more (at 26 she's got 4 years till her brain starts screaming at her that she is WASTING HER LIFE with this man, so we gotta give her grace) Why doesn't Simone Biles' husband want to find someone he WANTS to wake up to every morning? Clout. And unfortunately his piss poor behavior is going to get even worse when he realizes he doesn't get the clout he wants, because he wants to be more important and well known than her.

Absolutely agree with you. I hope Simone snaps out of it and if she’s really gonna be with him “for life” that he takes some pr lessons from A WOMAN and learn how to respect he’s wife in public. I completely agree with you, many men for multiple reasons much concerning their mindsets, misogynistic ways or how they care for themselves or multiple, multiple other reasons are so inadequate and unworthy of women. Women at large are special gems that don’t deserve much of how men are.

How come you are not concerned about mutual respect there? This is exactly what most guys feel like while dating women. No matter how successful he is that’s how they talk. If the genders were swapped in this same video most girls will say you go girl don’t bow down to him just Cz he won Olympics, u r worth more. This is a great video. Very well done. I agree with everything you've said here. I will say one thing. I think it's ok to let a man know that you're interested in him because some men (legitimately) don't want to overstep your boundaries (i.e. express interest in a woman and have it be taken the wrong way). But once you let him know you're interested through your words or actions, let him take the lead (in terms of asking you out, etc) because Brownfireball is absolutely correct. If you're not a man's type or he's not that into you for whatever reason, you will be the one keeping the relationship alive. Generally speaking, men are hunters and they really need to take the initiative once they are given the green light. Are there exceptions? Yes, but these men tend to prefer that women lead the relationship (at best) or they will take you for a ride and allow you to do all the work (at worst).

Do not chase men. Never chase men. They might get with you but deep down, they will not respect you, and later go brag about it like this silly guy. Value yourself and be attractive and let the man come to you. I am in my 50s and have grown sons. When I was younger, men went out of their way to show you that they wanted you. They took you on dates and bought you gifts. They appreciated the time you spent with them. My son's are gentlemen but there aren't many out there. I feel sorry for this generation. I wonder if people wanted Simone Biles to find the happily ever after that was depicted for Serena Williams’ love story. I am not aware if there is any negative chatter for Serena Williams’ husband . But PR wise, their team made it the story he knows his wife is a champion, a living legend, and very high profile. I hope there isn’t anything to contradict this but from what I understand, he understood his wife has more fame. She would receive more attention and he would be depicted as the “trophy” husband. That he would take a back seat when it comes to the press and he was ok with that.

Men are driven by ego and pride. He’s clearly overcompensating for not being as rich and famous. Even IF he didn’t know who she was, he noticed she had way more followers and eventually learned she was one of the most successful athletes of this generation. But he still tries to humble her at every single opportunity and emphasize the fact that he didn’t desire her initially, it makes you wonder what was the point he was trying to make. DISCLAIMER: to be fair, this was a small snippet and apparently in the rest of the video he praised her and mentioned how much she helped him with his mental health so it’s not like this was the entire theme of the video but that doesn’t change the fact he should have never said it; you can be honest without being rude Also I have been hearing people say his name in videos for a week now and still cannot remember it ! You are wrong. You should get a man's opinion on this. She literally chased him and he told the truth. However, he was not wise and immature in how he worded it. He should have ended it with I'm glad she made the first move because now I'm the luckiest man on the planet and I get to spend the rest of my life with this incredible woman blah blah etc etc. BTW Simone Biles is not the prototype for BM. She has a manly build (flat chest, no hips, no butt, no curves). The thing that makes her attractive (besides money for men with a lot les) is her humility, her smile, and how she carries herself in a feminine way.

Simone was valued very much based on her accomplishments. She’s known for being the best as she should. I think if we’re being very honest the motivation between men and women are radically different. Men rarely talk about a woman’s accomplishments compared to how she presents and how she makes them feel. I think women value a man’s achievements at the same level as physically or if not more in some cases. I think it takes a very specific type of guy to be with a high achieving public figure woman. I personally feel he was wrong for downplaying his wife and publicly embarrassing her. However, she choose to marry him knowing he had this trait.
