I always loved watching Denise on my TV 📺 as a teenager..I loved her energy and little did we know that the people we admire publicly are crying out for help privately,her story is a powerful testimony and the lessons here is to own our truth,do the work to heal no matter how hard it gets.I love her even more now hearing her journey and the place she is now being a woman of God. I've never looked forward to an interview the way I looked forward to this one.

Just letting you know Denise you were born to inspire and motivate. While we watched you on television, we did not know your struggles, but that light that emmited from you could not be hid under a bushel. Without you knowing it at that time, you caused a lot of us to believe in ourselves. We regret that you suffered so long and we thank God that we serve a true and living God that gives beauty for ashes; strength for fear; gladness for mourning and peace for despair. Thank you for sharing your story. Thank you Simone for creating such a beautiful platform for others to share their stories. Blessings to you two ladies.

I can relate to Denise. I grew up in the lanes on Seaward Drive and for awhile was the only one attending Queens High. We had thieving light so I could study while my friends mostly reside “uptown “. I met this lady at the FLL airport with Oliver, Faye Ellington and no disrespect cannot remember the others name, but i do remember coming from a trip from Dubai way back in the early 2000, dem mek mi laugh so hard not lying had to rush to the bathroom fast, and who most was giving the joke was This lady, she was really funny, which I said to myself , Thank you Lord for this woman, she take the stress off me cause i was going home to visit my mother whom by the time was dying ,now see or heard her story, but with grace I will say Thanks you for being YOU, I LOVE YOU Mrs. Denise Hunt.

I can identify with Denise. It is always my belief that we need to have a relationship with our children; not just clothe and feed them or just sending them to school. Because of this I've tried to build my relationship with my daughter and years later I can see the results. Calling me each time she goes out. Expressing her feelings whether good or bad.

I wish i could love this video more than once. Denise Hunt is the walking example of seeing a person and not knowing their struggles because of the facade. Sigh, why am i seemingly listening to somewhat of my own story....when she said "God i am your child tell me what i need to do", i felt that to my core because i have a problem that i need to heal from too.

I like the point that Denise emphasized so well - people who are aching should deliberately seek the help of good therapist (paraphrased). I have seen so many individuals who, if they had looked for help soon enough, could achieve in a big way - intellectually socially, materially and spiritually. Unfortunately many will not seek or even accept the necessary help. Because of such neglect many live and sometimes even die in poverty. This interview is a great one Simone. Keep up the good work.
