As a french black women I am very happy that you didn’t shop there and very sad that you had to experience that. Weird vibe? Spend your money somewhere else. Simple. But for informations , I don’t know if it was the case,just racism or xénophobia ( lot of them hate when Americans comes to shop) but vendors are told to not be friendly with the clients until you are SURE they are going to purchase when they are trained for the job ( happened to me when I was a student just before Covid and I quit 2 months after because I was uncomfortable and felt like they were looking at everything I was doing and they were doing this to eneryone, not just me or the new ones. Weird energy) and if they do, other vendors can snitch to the manager is not here. Happens a lot in many stores. I don’t get why but yea… welcome to Paris 😅🙄

Don't you think these luxury brands are just praying on us to buy their overpriced goods? When you travel and you see wealthy people, they have this quiet luxury style, zero logos anywhere on their body. And they most certainly do not shop from brands who have stores in malls. They purchased from bespoke brands we've never heard of and have weekly private fittings with the brands tailor.
