reparing esc is not tht hard even not that easy the emf feed back network of resistors in the sensorless esc is hard to debug and occationally the mosfets blows up , besides any atmega8 based esc has most probably the same schematic therefore im just taking a cheap esc rs 200 to 300 and changing it to the robust simonk firmware , and its worth it , simon k is a smart firmware

yes ofcourse, on arduino ucan use ready to use multiwii firmware or the ymfc-al frimware, best one do far i know is the multiwii, and if u leap a little higher and decide to build over a stm32f103 board u may use the ymfc-32 or the clean flight firmware (based on multiwii for stm32)
