Thanks! I use a Maono Shotgun mic and then edit the audio after recording in Audacity to improve treble.😊

Um.. cloth? This is an RGB Light that can produce any hue between Red, Green, and Blue.

You can use anything as a background, but in my opinion a lighter colored one would reflect these rgb hues better.

Cool Review!! Video was published on Dec 2020 now Its August 2022, whats the status of the light? Should I invest on this or go for any other model. Please suggest.

It's a good light, but I'd suggest you go for one with an easily detachable battery. It'll help when the batteries eventually need to be replaced.

Almost every portable RGB light comes with the same concealed battery. 😅Best budget option would be one of these USB powered ring lights -!amzn.to/3zMh9nW Note: this is just 2700 Lux, not as bright as Simpex with 3800 Lux.

I see detail on Amazon for simplex I found the below info: Max brightness / illuminance 1200 LUX @0.5 (5600k) Also I think the suggested ring light would not much portable for me 🙂 . With simplex I can also cover macro, but I only have doubt till how long it will work and also can't change bettery right? Conclusion- Looking for bright, portable and durable light 😀

If you need the portability, there aren't many options with external battery and RGB (only bi-colored lights). Simpex will last you at least a year, but the battery will swell up eventually due to the extreme heat the light produces. I imagine it's the same issue with other lights too.

I have a question. Is there a mode where it gently changes through various RGB hues? So one can have a background with automatically changing colors?

No, there is no auto breathing mode unfortunately. Only a static color that you set.

You can use your Smartphone's wall adapter with a USB-C cable to charge it. It can only be charged via its USB-C port, from any source that can do at least 3.7V DC

Yes. Any hue from deep blue all the way to bright red is supported.

These are meant for video, so no. Even at super-slo mo there is no flicker 😊✌

I can see online.. simplex led 180 which exactly looks like simplex RGB....what is the difference?

It does not have RGB in it and only has light color ranging from 5600K white to 3200K Daylight yellow.

Yes, but in terms of brightness, you'll get better value with the Digitek Light that I covered in another video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/arSKitF8t8CooHk.html That thing has bigger battery and brighter output.

Hmm. Would you be using them long after your work is done? If this is a one time thing, I suggest you get a bunch of those outdoor "work" lights and put a white cloth on top of them as diffuser😅. It'll be cheaper and will be bright enough.

Guys please don’t buy this light. This not even a proper review. After using this light for a little over 30-40 minutes. The front plastic came out due to heat. And better backup is also not good

Yeah, that happens in some units. But I find the battery backup to be quite satisfactory for my use.

Yes, it has TV and camera flash modes. But they aren't very good or convincing. Don't buy if that's a must have thing for you. It's not as accurate as the Aperture MC.

I bought it and it seems it is a generic chinese light marketed as indian. Battery had made in china and brochure gave it a generic model no. Simpex packet was open but light was new. I suspect that they import these lights and brand their name onto them. They probably open to test. Otherwise the light is as per your review
