Hi, just saw this product at the HD website, I have several of the non-WiFi models at home, have had for years and have found them to be generally reliable and battery savers. I was planning to buy the Schlage model that costs $225 until I saw this, the advantage of the Schlage seems to be that it's WiFi direct and does not need an adaptor. My only complaint with my Defiant locks are the time it takes to open the door, my front door is also used for an AirBnB and many times the door jams if you try to open it before the cylinder clears the lock. People are often impatient even though I put in the instructions to wait for 5 seconds for 2nd beep to allow entry. My question is, how long does it take for this one to give the 2nd beep that indicates that door is clear to open? Obviously, too soon for battery tests?

At 2:42 seconds , my screws dont go all the way in and hence my numpad is totally loose and doesn't get installed. Why are the screws not going all the way inside

Bought 2, one only worked when turned on by app, on touching key pad, the motor made noise but did not lock. Lock #2 never connected to WiFi., Customer service was a total joke. AVOID THIS PRODUCT
