Sooo, I got ghost pepper shipped all the way from Nagaland just so I could re-enact your style of eating just for the sheer pleasure of it all. Well turns out I misjudged it all. All I did was bite off the tip of the pepper and thats all it took to make me never wanna try that pepper again and now I’m more in awe than I was ever before of how you so easily wolf that one demon of a pepper down without even flinching for a second. The "mejenga pata" is basically known as Sichuan pepper leaves in English as well. We just don't use the word guti in between the two words. Haha

Another one wild green leaves which is very popular and favourite for all is called 'melema pata' and found in some parts of 'Ao inhabited' area only. The combination of pork, bamboo shoots, melema pata and the seeds of mezenga is also very tasteful.
