Ingredients for Chicken Biryani:
- Chicken, large pieces with bones - 750 g
- Basmati Rice - 500 g (3 cups)
Cooking the Chicken:
- Pure Ghee - 1 tbsp
- 1 medium size Onion (Sliced)
- Crushed Ginger - 1 tbsp
- Crushed Garlic - 1 tbsp
- Ready made Biryani Masala - 5 tbsp
- Diced Tomatoes - 200 g
- Plain Yogurt - 1 cup
- Coriander leaves - chopped - 1 cup
- Mint leaves - chopped - 1 cup
Cooking the Rice:
- 3 bay leaves
- 4 Green cardamom
- 4 Cloves
- 1 stick Cinnamon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- 2.5 Liters of Water to boil the rice
- Mint leaves - chopped - 1/2 cup
- Pure Ghee - 1 tbsp
