Sir, I am facing one problem, when I run the Jenkins job the "webapp.war" file is properly created under "/opt/docker/" in my Docker server. But no Docker images are getting started. Also, the Console Output in Jenkins shows the below output -------------------------------- SSH: Connecting with configuration [docker_host] ... SSH: EXEC: completed after 418 ms SSH: Disconnecting configuration [docker_host] ... ERROR: Exception when publishing, exception message [Exec exit status not zero. Status [125]] Finished: UNSTABLE ---------------------------------- I have given proper privileges and file folder permissions. Any solutions ...!

Hello Sir, these are wonderful videos from learning perspective, I have implemented each ansible, jenkins and project1 , 2 and 3.. These give me confidence. Moreover, the project3 I tried to implement by my own taking the scenario as a use case and i was successful. I feel happy and little boost to my confidence level thank you for sharing and publishing these videos. I am not sure what additional learning I need to focus on to become really good at DevOps, please guide and advice some tips.

@@jagdishbelapure7521 Imagine plotting your strengths in tools/techniques. The more tools/technologies you know, the wider is your V/U talent. The Stronger your expertise in a particular technology/tool, deeper you plot it. In a typical V shape, you have deep expertise in one or two technologies/tools. In a talent U model, you must gain expertise in more than few technologies and tools.

I have a scenario, in which I have multiple projects that are deployed on multiple servers and i want to handle auto-deployment through Jenkins. I don't want to install Jenkins for each server. Just one Jenkin server that can handle and connect to servers and git repos (mostly private repos). Does anyone have any solution for that ?

Hi Thanks for the videos. All the topics are clear but i have a small doubt. In my old project We have used the Jenkins to restart the Application Server instances as well. we will go to the jobs and select the particular instance and click start/stop/restart. Could you please explain how to do that???

this depends on where is your server located. if it is in datacenter you can only stop or restart. if it is in aws or other cloud you can do stop, start and restart. You just need to give access to your jenkins server to perform these activites. "to stop or restart server you may use options like "publish over ssh" or execute commands on remote host

As depends on the maturity of the organization. Slaves on containers is easy to start with, as you can spawn new slaves upon build/release failures. For, Master on containers requires lot more additional work. Really mature DevOps teams and high level automation will be required to achieve that.

You're supposed to check in the node/slave , not the jenkins host.

Hi Manideep, did you create DockerHub account? if so you need to login Dockerhub account from your docker node.

after build that is the path where webapp.war will get created by default
