I just got the guants ghosts modles and I wanted to do a Forrest theme on the bases. This video is extremely useful for helping me figure out how. (Still very new to wargaming but jumping into the deep end right lol)

You should really try static Grass from Noch it is a German brand where you don't need any bulky machines to apply the Grass but a small 2$ Plastic Bottle and the results are waaayyyy better!

Artis Opus' seems great, you probably want to watch some of his videos to get a better idea of what it does though

@@seby1857 we had really crappy experience with them, they took our order but they had a massive backlog going for about 6 months that at no point was told and we had to press them to find out about, we also had to spend ages trying to get a refund and only got one after ages of us trying with their non-existent customer service, but thanks for pointing them out, nice to see a member of the community lnding a hand!

I like army painter dry brushes, 3 different sizes. You could also use make up blush brushes

either makeup brushes, army painter ones or artis opus. the first one is the cheapest one, but it works, while the next two are a bit pricier, but they were made for this one technique alone

Yes, makeup brushes are good at, naturally with the pricer brushes you've better results, but also with the former I made some good Blackstone Fortress-like bases

nope, I collected those last year and they are still in perfect condition.

For a more a natural look, don't paint the twigs and plop it on after finishing the rest of the steps. You can use oregano for leaves, too. It's really cheap and... spices up your bases. ha
