Simple Fire Alarm Circuit

This video is about how to make a simple fire alarm circuit using Thermistor and IC LM358.
A thermistor is a variable resistor whose resistance depends upon the temperature. In this circuit I have used an NTC thermistor whose resistance is inversely proportional to temperature.
Components used :

The buzzer keeps beeping even if there is no fire and adjusting the potentiometer dosent change anything it beeps even without potentiometer

Before bringing heat source close to thermistor do u adjust preset, if so how?

Yes , I adjust the preset such that the buzzer doesn't beep until I bring the heat source

The buzzer automatically stops making sound when the temperature comes to a certain level and the resistance of the thermistor decreases

Try adjusting the preset to the right sensitivity or maybe there could be a connection problem

I've made this circuit but my fire alarm is continuously buzzing just i connect it with battery. Means buzzing without fire. Can u plz tell me the reason n solution thanks

You should vary the potentiometer by hand
