I know that you made it and done nice job nothing is fake here these tubes have mercury vapour which glows at high voltage now this cfl can never die on it's own it a life long bulb till parts burn or tube break he used high voltage ~640vdc and it is enough to glow a small tube. Now this new cfl doesn't require its glowing bulb so if the tube is old or fused then also it will work. Impressive word brother 😊😊

Thank you very good video and very good idea. You have replaced the electronic card of the FCL lamp with a simple circuit. Questions: 1- what is the output of this simple circuit in volts and amperes if it is possible? 2- Is this circuit suitable for lighting all types of FCL lamps? 3- If one of the filaments of this FCL lamp is cut, can this circuit that you built light the lamp? The blackened CFL bulb which is shown in the beginning is not used with this DIY circuit but a new CFL is used. Nice try, Homemade!!!!

You are right😀although I think he used that burned bulb and then realized it can’t work with that .so he changed the bulb.some small lamps can start on 220v without a hv kickstart and just need some current limiting component and a touch of an earth wire or hand on the bulb to work.

It is the same light bulb. After rectification multiplier. voltage at the 2 ends of the capacitor ~ 600VDC. Easy to light the bulb. you can try.

@@PhdHung Blackened CFL bulbs can't be revived. But if the inbuilt circuit is faulty then one may use the presented circuit.

😮 This circuit is similar to the DC fluorescent lamp ballast circuit, but is slightly different. The link doesn't work, but if you search for fluorescent lamp driver dc on Google, a circuit similar to that comes up. The only thing shown in this video is that the resistor and capacitor in parallel are excluded. And the reason why this circuit only operates at 230v can be found by looking at the discharge method of fluorescent lamps. Discharge at about 650v to 1kv. If you want to run at 100v, use a voltage doubler circuit rather than this circuit.

Sebenarnya rangkaian itu rangkaian pengganda tegangan. Dari input 220v jadi 440v, aku gak yakin kalau ini bisa. Dia dari India.

WARNING READ THIS: this circuit only works with 220v to 240v so if you have 120v it will not work. Because the voltage is not high enough to trigger the mercury in the cfl
