More About This Video:
In a very short time, you will learn not only how to read faster but with full understanding which in some cases I taught me how to speed read a book in a day! This has also helped many people I personally know in being able to speed read and many others on the internet claimed that they were also amazed how they were able to read faster and comprehend more so I'm excited and hopeful it will help you too!
Now basically this method that I’m using, is utilizing both senses by simply reading the book along with an audiobook played at around 1 and a half to 2 times the speed.
What I have found doing this is that my ability to focus usually happens instantly. You see, the reason why you would able to focus more is that this style of reading engages 2 different parts of your brain that involve the visual and auditory senses. I have a separate video that went over how this in particular with a different type of training has shown to increase people’s IQ.
So, while I look at the book and follow along, I found myself finishing books in literally half the time compared to just reading without audiobooks.
Like, for example, I recently just finished a book called “The 4 Hour Work Week by Tim Ferris” in just about 4 hours. Kind of funny how that happened. But not only I read faster, but I was able to have really good comprehension and recall things from the book better.

Joey Krainski I do too. Something the helped me is to focus, for each sentence, the subject and the verb. Consider those the key to what the sentence is about. So, instead of remember the entire previous sentence, simply bring to memory the subject of it. Good luck p

Joey Krainski uhh I just started reading myself. My advice. Find a quiet room, get an easier book than you expected to read, and put your phone in the other room and kick all the pets and family out and just start. It’s not a race. It’s about learning. Start off slow.

Goodness man, you are onto something. I've been using this method for years without consciously knowing it. This hapoens with my subtitles on while watching KZfaq. I always speed through the CC before the audio finishes. I just didn't apply it to ALL my reading because I didn't put it all together. Wow. This is powerful stuff. Thanks friends for pricking my consciousness, enabling me to consciously apply this powerful reading technique: Audio cum mental. Fabulous!

This might help. Try reading in a lower light environment. If you start to find success than look into Irlen Syndrome. Basically, light makes the brain work harder and Irlen filters filter out the negative light.

I often stop the audiobook and read the next chapter normally and I noticed my comprehension and speed also improves!

Visual + Auditory Senses are crucial for reading faster and better, right? Well, my tip is. Can you not just read out loud instead of doing the audio thing? Reading out loud ensures that you are hearing yourself. So, simultaneously you are using your visual skill and hearing skill.

in my experience it worsens my reading speed and comprehension. unless you have a book to read and the deadline is coming up soon, i don’t recommend this tip because it’s just gonna be worse for you in the long run. plus, unless you are visually impaired, standardized tests don’t have audiobooks, which may make the reading portion of those tests much much harder for you.
