Be smart though and “hide” it in a high yield savings account minimally. Don’t do like grandma because the money stash will lose value over time with inflation. Your employer may already allow you to split your pay into different accounts. Send a percentage to a different HYSA account each time you get paid. This strategy helped me pay off debt and covers some unexpected expenses so I don’t have to use credit.

I love investor Lynette! Another good piece of advice I learned this year is to max out your Roth or 401k early in the year if you can, so it can have the rest of the year to grow.

My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to make investments. Saving is great but investing puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. Thanks to larysa Caba, my portolio is doing really great and im proud of the decisions i made last year.

I feel one Of the greatest challenges that we first timers face in the ma rket is that we end up losing all we have, making it difficult to find ourselves back to our feet. My biggest advice is to always seek the services of a professional just like I did when I ventured into it for the first time. Big thanks to Larysa Caba. I now make huge profits by weekly through her services while still learning to stand on my own.

I have never seen a trader as open and transparent as Larysa Caba with her clients. The way she decides to make a profit for her clients. she allows you to express your fears and she still rests your fears and that is my respect. I don't normally comment on videos, but this word should be included. she is really cool.

@@britneyt9253I have been trying to figure this out for quite some time over the years. The highest yield I’ve seems was 4.75% through PayPal. I haven’t figured out how people find banks that have yields

@@britneyt9253Hi Britney! A HYSA earns more interest than typical savings accounts at traditional banks like Bank of America or Wells Fargo. Most HYSA are available online. They aren’t typically offered at traditional banks with physical locations. Check out CitBank, American Express, Ally, Sofi, etc. Just do a Google search for options and see which one is best for you.

This is great info! 👍🏾 Thank you for sharing your experience and thoughts with us. Be mindful that the 401k is not typically matched dollar per dollar though. Most companies will match your contribution up to a certain percentage like 3-5%. This is good, but does not equal the amount you contribute.

Having periodically followed you over the last couple of years I am truly impressed with how the quality of your content has improved. On the topic of investing the only time someone has truly made money is when you actually sell the stock. Until that point any gain is only on paper. Having been involved in investing for over thirty years my best advice is read as many books as possible on investing in order that you fully understand the basics. Also decide how you would respond to a fifty percent or more drop in your index fund in a year or more. This is the time you should be buying more. Other than that I feel you did a great job on the topic for what short time you had. One last point--over forty percent of baby boomers have no retirement to savings at all

The Little Book of Investing by John Bogle, Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki, Investing for Dummies, any utube or books by John Bogle The Truth About Crypto. Do not trade individual stocks. Not even the experts can win at that game over the long term. Invest no more than ten percent of your money in cryptocurency. Above all buy more shares during bear markets

At the end of the day, there's no one particular way of bridging that gap. but starting to save early and investing in the financial markets can never go wrong. if I were to start over in 2024 with less than $50k I would still use the portfolio management play-book.

I agree, when it comes to investing, no one actually holds the candle. I just invested in my first piece of gold yesterday on my fidelity account. It wasn't much but I want to get the ball rolling. I wasn't taught any of this growing up. I'm currently 36 years old and I'm just realizing I don't want to continue working for anyone else but me. So now even though I don't have a lot of knowledge or experience, I'm just going to keep investing in a lot of things and don't even think about it.
