Dear Kenny, I've never commented on any KZfaq video before, but I felt compelled to write this. I recently lost a loved one to COVID-19 & have been finding it extremely hard to cope with the loss. I felt very lonely & the added pressures of work just made it all the more difficult to deal with what was going on. I accidentally discovered Simple Ken very recently, and it has been the only thing to keep me going. I always leave feeling nice after watching it, it has helped calm my mind & is something I look forward to everyday. I know how difficult it is for you to show this vulnerable side of you to the world, but you still do it despite the negativity & harsh criticism and I just want to thank you for that. It really pains me to see you doubt yourself & your abilities because you may not realize it, but your videos help so many of us get out of feeling lonely, dejected & hopeless. I've been a fan of your stand-up comedy for more than 5 years now, but Simple Ken has shown me that you're more than a great comedian, you're an incredible human being & listening to these long recordings of you talking makes it feel like you're almost family to me. Thank you so much for everything that you do. I really wish you didn't receive so many hate comments, but I really hope you don't let the negativity get to you or wear you down. Also that causes you to get in the game of trying to please the large group of people who watch your show. Basically kills the pure because it's not about the intention of the show anymore, but about what we as an audience expect from the show and from you. I was listening to the "long recording of you talking" on my way back home after a gruelling 30 hour shift at the hospital. And what you said in appreciation of doctors put the biggest smile on my face. Thank you, for acknowledging the work that healthcare workers put in. It isn't easy, but healing people is extremely rewarding. And let me tell you this- there is no adrenaline rush like the one after you have resuscitated a dying person. #simpleken Being an emotional and sensitive person, this pandemic has got me overthinking more than usual. So whenever I have something on my mind or want advice on something specific, I try to talk it out with my friends. But what I have noticed over time is that I, like really listen to only 1-2 people. Like only their advice gives me the push to actually accept that they are right and like change myself in accordance of what they say, while everyone else just keep telling things and I end up what I want to do anyway. Like only their advice has an impact on me. It has come to a point that talking to those 1-2 people has become so necessary for me to actually feel okay every time I'm dealing with something. I feel like I don't have an individual stand and am dependent on them. I'm trying to deal with my problems on my own and it is overall becoming too negative and anxious for me. Do you feel this way too? Do you get the urge to actually do things when you talk to some people? Does it frighten you that they won't always be there to get you out of such situations? I mean I am a 12th grader and will be giving neet(med entrance exam) next year and you know how much these exams are valued to a point where it feels like if I screw this up then life is over for me...not suicidal but the thought of future often scares the crap out of me..even more so due to this pandemic . I have talked to my other friends about this and all of them face the same problem so would love to hear you insight on this. #simpleken Hey kenny, So I have been studying for a competitive exam. And since lockdown started we have to give exams online. So cheating is very easy. I honestly did not cheat in first few weeks, I got amazing marks But, After that I got average marks for which my parents got really upset since I only had set their expectations high in the first place. So I cheated in the next month and all were happy go merry. But, After cheating for a 2 months, I felt really guilty and helpless. I watched some show, they said your conscience will scare you until you face it. Since then, I have been struggling to not cheat. It is very difficult since I am scared of my parents. I am not like that Rahul Subramanian's friend who got beated up still ended up getting one or two marks. Tomorrow is the big test and I tell myself still that this would be the last one. After that I would prepare to the extent that there'll be no need to cheat. But that's what is happening all this time. What do you think you would do? And what do you think about cheating overall? Hey Kenny I really love these long recordings, it act as stress buster for me. Getting to know that all of us are in the same boat(like going through almost similar kinda stuff) #simpleken is my escape!

I got tested positive for covid19 and i was hospitalised for 10 days. I saw death very closely there and how people are dealing with their grief was painful. The doctors were working day and night. I don't know what it takes to be on duty in such times when they barely get sleep and do not get to meet their families for weeks. Thanks to them. They are truly heroes in every which way. The few things that i did to stay sane and make me feel better were watching your standup and your old videos again and again. Thank you so much all your body of work. I can watch you day and night. Hey Kenny, I love the long recording of you talking. Been following this from the first episode. You always insist on having friends who are different from you and it will help you grow and prevent you from ending up in a small bubble. That particular advice resonated so much with me. After every fight I have with my friends, I come to a conclusion and feel like I've learned something new. In fact, that's how i define my friendship. They are there to keep you humble and help you grow. But what if the other person is a narcissist and takes that as an advantage and becomes invasive and wants to change you according to their set of beliefs? Do you step back, be assertive and distance yourself from the narcissist or do you keep changing to please them? Where do you draw the line? Where do you stop adjusting yourself? And if being assertive means you have to lose that relationship, is it worth being assertive at all? Or is it okay to lose one friend or another along the way?

There are times when you know that you have a reason to be slightly upset but it probably doesn't seem reasonable to someone else.
