Way back in 1984 I believe it was, hubby made bookshelves for our livingroom apartment. They were very practical. Only problem was that when we moved we had to leave them. Yes they were that big. :) You know how you have that one storage spot for the Linens. I have one closet. For some reason when hubby remodeled this house he neglected to put in closets. Maybe he thought we didn't need them LOL I can get creative but it's awfully hard to put things away scheech lol Thanks for sharing ( sorry so long )

My friend who was able to fight cancer for 15 years, had pureed ginger and lemon in hotwater with or without honey several times a day. Rarely got sick outside of the cancer. I do it here and there, but it is a good reminder, to get it premade and freeze for future use.

Tip from a fellow ginger lover - you can peel it with a spoon pretty easily and only the skin comes off, none of the flesh! : )

I love walking in the fall. I love the outdoor workout gym. Ginger is a great source of food. I use it in my cooking when I can. The bookshelf is awesome.

Hi Noemi, ginger tea should be drank at night before bed. You can add some turmeric and cinnamon for added benefits. I sweeten with raw brown sugar but honey works great too. My partner and I drink ginger and turmeric tea on a daily basis. Make your tea with root ginger and root turmeric just boil on the stove very low and then strain ☺️

I take pumpkin butternut squash sweet potato and carrots and cook them in bone broth then I take my immersion blender and puree that all together. Then I put caramelized onions on top and a dollop of sour cream or you can do whatever you prefer but I'm going to start adding kale as well. I'm trying to stay away from the oxalates which is in spinach. And that causes inflammation. And did you know l had found out that a lot of nightshade vegetables have nicotine in it. It's natural nicotine. Well anyhow if you were to eat 20 lb I know you won't do this but if you were to eat 20 pounds of eggplant there's enough nicotine and all that equal one cigarette isn't that crazy. So I learned about that and did you know that a lot of vitamins and medicines have fillers in it that are lactaid. I was not aware of that. I've known this for years. And did you know that kiwis and I believe avocados I could be wrong about avocados have natural latex in it so if you're allergic to latex that's something to think about. Anyhow it's so weird how they sell all these vitamins and I've just learned that the higher the micrograms or milligrams or grams is because it's not the type of vitamin that's easy absorbed. Like zinc palmate I think it is I can't remember exactly and I'm not going to look it up but that is a lower amount of zinc because your body absorbs it better. I learned that when I was trying to get a vegan / gluten-free zinc vitamin. And I asked the lady what the difference with all these are and she explained that to me. Anyhow awesome video

My first batch is in the fridge for a week. I would be careful to go longer I like to freeze it it keeps the nutrition better too that way😊

I really like the ginger puree. I am going to try that. I get a bit monthly organic fruit and veggie box from Misfit Market. We have very little access to organic food in my area so I get a subscription. I got four limes last week and I like the idea of making a paste with them. Oh my goodness, I felt like I was there with you guys. That Max, carving the pumpkin, is just the biggest smile maker. 😊 He worked so hard on it, bless his heart. I was shaking my head yes as you were giving suggestions about the bookcase, and I had to laugh at your husbands answer when you asked him about left or center… Same thing my husband would’ve said. 🤣

Can you make turmeric paste from the root too ? Such a great idea.

Yes and if I would see a deal on it in Costco I would buy turmeric too. I have some store bought turmeric paste but I bet it would be much cheaper to make it at home.😊💕
