In the past you get all the vinyl albums then the cds and see the guys in concert and then get reminded about a song you forgot but absolutely love. I woke up with this playing on youtube by random. What a fantastic re-find.

Saw them in Hannover in 91 on their Real Life tour. One of the best live bands you'll ever see. And I've seen Lizzy, Motörhead, Sabbath, Rush, Purple, Metallica, Maiden, Stevie Ray Vaughan, amongst loads of other great live bands......Supported by New Model Army and Transvision Vamp. Was lucky enough to see them live last year (2022) & It was an incredible experience, the arena was packed, everyone singing. Jim, Charlie & the band were awesome. The audience was a mixture of ages. Jim was in great shape (does he do yoga by any chance? 🤣) & what a voice!!! Sounded incredible! If you get offered the chance to go & see Simple Minds live....GO & DO IT!!! 😻

The very best of the 80's and 90's music, I still have the very best of Simple Minds on CD and still love to listen to it nearly 30 years later. I owned a pub a few years ago, and every Saturday it was always 80's and early 90's, a lot of the older customers, loved it and even the younger punters in their 20's thought it was proper chill music
