[Ingredients]
- Fresh seaweed or dried seaweed (salted or unsalted)
- Tofu (firm tofu recommended)
- Green onions
- Water
- Dashi Stock Powder
- Miso paste
Learn how to make a delicious and comforting miso soup right in your own kitchen! In this easy-to-follow recipe, we'll show you how to use fresh seaweed and tofu to create a flavorful and nutritious soup that's perfect for any occasion.
Start by rinsing the seaweed to remove excess salt, then soak it to reduce its saltiness. Next, finely chop the seaweed and cut the tofu into small cubes. Don't forget to chop some green onions for added aroma!
Once your ingredients are prepped, heat water in a pot and add Dashi Stock Powder for a flavorful base. After bringing the water to a boil and removing the Dashi, add the seaweed and tofu, and let it simmer for a few minutes.
Finally, add miso paste to the soup, adjusting the amount to your taste preferences. Be sure not to let the soup boil after adding the miso to preserve its delicate flavor. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving, and you're ready to enjoy a bowl of homemade miso soup!

Yes. Miso has enough of flavor. Also you can find a miso comes with dashi🙂

I use Shimaya Dashi No Moto powdered stock. But I think it's still perfect without dashi!
