I found Simple Plan when I was eleven, and though I had no idea why, their music appealed to me. Six years later, I had developed depression and social anxiety in high school and realized they were there for me before I knew I needed them.

That moment when you read all the coments and feel good because you're not the only one who suffers about not having any friends or feel invisible.

Fact remains everyone can relate to this song atleast at one point in their life. And that's sad.

This song hits much closer to home now that I'm an adult approaching 30, than it did during all of my angsty teenage years. When I was younger, I simply thought "yes this song is so true, nobody knows the pain I've been through." But as an adult, and especially considering the official music video, I realize they're saying that this is just what we think. In reality, we share the pain with everyone around us. Pain is unique. But there's always someone out there that can relate.

This song really saved my life. It helped me vent out all the frustration because the lyrics hit so hard that I've never felt perfectly understood.

I discovered Simple Plan when I was in High School like in 12 years ago. Back then I was a bright teenager who was optimistic and cheerful and altruistic but then as life progress and I am now in some of my worst moments in my mid twenties and this song just came out of no where and it's funny how this could resonate with everything happening to me right now.

This is exactly what I feel about my classmates. They have everything but still they are complaining. I'm good at reading face expressions so it's easy for me to tell if someone lies or if someone is giving a fake smile. They are always genuinely happy and don't get me wrong, I love that they are happy but it isn't fair. I know i know, world isn't fair. But I'm always alone outside while i see others laughing and complaining about everything.
