Hello friends, today in this video i have shown how to make an IR proximity sensor circuit. The circuit is very sensitive. It can detect an object at a distance of 15cm.
Components used with purchase links:-
A. Bc547 transistor

C. 2 x IR led

D. 100 ohm resistor
E. 330K resistor
F. 220 ohm resistor

Use extra battery to light the first ir led and place it face to face to the second ir led, you will get 100 cm range

On the schematic in the description it looks like the sensing LED to the base is drawn backwards. Please verify, thanks.

My dog has recently been diagnosed diabetic. As a result, he's gone blind. Hes learning well to listen to my commands to keep him from running into stuff or falling off curbs, etc. I was thinking a few weeks back what would be involved in making a collar with object sensors on it, since I cant be with him 24 hrs to watch his safety. I would have to replace LEDs wirh those little buzzers though. One for each side pointing down. Its amazing how fast a dog learns when he has to. Fortunately, he's pretty smart anyways.
