A strong and simple starter base design is important to have so that your Rust base doesn't get raided. However, I've noticed that many beginners don't really know what they're doing when it comes to building a base that can keep their loot safe. In this video, I'll show you a tried and trusted base design that's strong, compact, and easy to build.

@@slimspinach8554 learn how to make a bunker and pretty much get creative, theres plenty of bunkers my original base design combines two and the bunkers alone are around 18 rockets cost It’s pretty easy to learn so good luck

Every video I’ve watched always starts off with garage doors and other late wipe items. Love how this would allow me to have a base and build on it as we start to level up

I can confirm we dont raid these build shapes unless its personal. It's always super expensive and exhausting and whether we fail or succeed it's the last thing we do that day.

I was just raided today with the base design they used 11 rockets and 3 c4 with metal honeycomb but they went straight to tc I had grabbed their raid loot so it was personal for them

Normally when it gets to the point it doesn't matter what base you have.

This base looks quite comfy, most bases like that are hell to walk inside. Btw best tip for everyone playing rust, never fight near ur house, never let anyone know where u live, it legit enables me to stay unraided all wipe all the time

Made this base last wipe and didn’t get raided at all. Big improvement for a solo player lol. All my other base designs were raided in a day or two. Thanks for this!

Good video, but here's few possible improvements: - Add full size loot room shelf to make the TC unlootable. - Don't leave wooden shelves inside your honeycomb. They aren't needed after placing shelves inside, so leaving those only increases upkeep cost %. - Stone wall/window has less durability than reinforced glass window, so you should upgrade the TC window frame to metal.

@@lottatop3601 when there is a half height square infront on a doorway you can't fit into it and when the TC is broken the loot bag will fall out of reach. It isn't unlootable thought since you can bag yourself in TC room once it breaks

Thanks a ton, I made some modifications that suit me and it works great! I got raided before I put honeycomb down, but I quickly rebuilt and haven’t been raided since.

great video! only critique would be to use a window wall and a wooden shutter instead 9f a shop front so raiders can't see directly into your loot rooms and tc when you're online

This is a good 1 day - 2 day of wipe base easy to put down but u can't really make it better in the future. The base tutorial was very good and I appreciate you doing it slowly and telling us what you are doing and why you are doing it. The only thing u missed is upgrading the wall frame and it is worth upgrading the window wall. The large crate on the second loot room is accessible from the other side of the dubble door/garage door. Overall 8/10, Thanks

I have been using this design for a few wipes and it has been a game changer. I have been raided unprovoked in this base, but it's far less common than any other design. Plus it temporarily cures my erectile disfunction when I think about the massive amount of resources lost by who ever raided me only to find my purposely tiny stash of goods. I only wish this base came with a security camera so I could watch the disappointment on the raiders faces. You can't put a price on instant karma. Thank you!

Good simple build. One thing though, you do not have to upgrade the shelves outside the base in order to get shelves on the inside of the base. It will let you build through the wall after placing the twig shelf or you can go back inside and add onto it from the inside without making the outside one wood.

My brother and I just got into Rust and I have not been able to find a build video that goes a nice pace. They spam their builds down and I have to rewind and pause every 10 seconds. You sir, have a new subscriber and a new worshipper so you can start your track to becoming a religious figure
