Priorities matter. When my coworkers question how I choose to dress and try to figure out my finances. I tell them that I don't party, I don't drink...my money goes into my clothes. Comparison is another mistake we make in our personal finances.

Emotion regulation was my main money problem. And self esteem issues and I thought living in the burbs made me better. When I was sad, I'd cope with emotional eating. I was really not looking out for myself enough. Plus my life was cluttered with too many people. Now, I am even thinking about my future. I wirk less and have ebough time to work on my healing.

I loved loved the conversation, so timely. I went and finished it off on spotify, took comprehensive notes. I wish she had recommended places to invest where they have less fees and all. But I guess that's where one will need a financial advisor. Thank you @Mpoomy for these conversations.

I'm taken away at Mapalo's optimism and just showing us how it can work in your favour by seeing the blessing in every turn in your life...she couldn't go straight to varsity due to family financial constraints and she didn't just sit there crying and beating her self up that why me.. she took it as an opportunity to figure out what she's most passionate about and then study that, which not most people get that chance to, we just dive into any program and later on discover that its not what your passionate about and you now have to change the course of your career way later. So thank you Mpoomy and Mapalo for having this conversation and sharing it with us ❤
