Do you cook the rice first and then put it in with the ghee or do you put it in raw?

Hi Hannah, first I wash the uncooked rice & fry it in ghee.

Cloves, cardamom, black peppers, star anise, fennel seeds, cinnamon, coriander seeds (ground spices) I always buy Punjas pulau masala, but If you cannot find the ground one than you can take whole spices & blend it into powder.

Hi Daisy, we use basmati, calrose, jasmine & long grain rice. It depends from person to person.

Hi Sam, you can blend whole spices into powder: Cloves, cardamom, black peppers, star anise, fennel seeds, cinnamon & coriander seeds. I always use Punjas pulau masala & whenever I’m out of it blend the spices. You can check in supermarkets in the area you are at. Hope this helps 😊
