Made 15 pair last night. I wore the Style 1 earrings to an appt. this morning, and a woman waiting just erupted with her series of physical problems, pains, and ill father... etc. Stressed. She suddenly said Oh! What beautiful earrings you have on! I said thank you, I made them last night. As she reacted surprised I made them, I took them off and gave them to her. Her whole demeanor changed. She walked out wearing the earrings, happy. I'm now remaking more. :-) Thanks!

These are so beautiful! Make sure you keep Etsy stocked up well. I’m buying stuff when I get money, including new wire sizes to create with and practice too. Do you happen to live in the PNW and teach classes? If not, you should teach classes on the side. These are awesome tutorials. Thanks for free help

These are very, very pretty. I love them all. I love the silver wire as copper turns my skin green. Is this because I'm allergic?
@MattsCrazyArt3 жыл бұрын
No, pure copper oxidizes (rusts) when exposed to moisture. The green is the oxidation. It won't hurt you. Coated copper made for jewelry usually won't do this.

Hi, it’s beautiful! In your experience, it’s better to do pieces that match, like earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings that go together and have the same theme? 😊
@noaccount24944 жыл бұрын
in my experience if the intent is to sell them have a few sets of matching pieces but have pricing ready in case someone wants to buy just one part. Then have plenty of individual pieces.

Hello~ New to the channel, good shit- quite enjoy. But its driving me crazy trying to figure out- where are you when you're doing these videos??? It sounds like you're in a food court of a mall or something. Or some sort of school or community center? Anyway, its fun and thank you!!!! :D

@Matt There are so many types of wire. What do you usually buy and who do you buy it from?
@MattsCrazyArt4 жыл бұрын
Copper based dead soft coated round wire from parawire.com in various earth tones and silver from gauges 16-26 but I use a ton of 18, 20 and 22 gauge.
@tammysimons49164 жыл бұрын
@@MattsCrazyArt thank you for replying so quickly. My skin eats the coating off all plated jewelry I have bought and it becomes the base metal color. I will check out parawire. Thank you for the link anns all your great videos.

@@tammysimons4916 do you get sick less often than most people? Less colds and flus and stuff?
@tammysimons49164 жыл бұрын
@@MattsCrazyArt yes I do. Curious why you asked that.
@MattsCrazyArt4 жыл бұрын
@@tammysimons4916 I met a man whose acidic skin oils ate through every kind of metal and a lot of other materials. He couldn't wear jewelry at all. He also never got sick. He was so immune to sickness that doctors and scientists studied him when he was young. Ever since then, I ask other people with similar conditions.

I've got one of those. Well, it depends on the year or something, maybe. When I started watching tutorials, back in the spring, I decided I wanted to make her a mother's ring, using the heart design that Matt showed us a couple of times. Added Swaroski crystals to match the children's birth months. Once it was done, I hated it. The heart is bigger than I wanted it to be. The edges want to slip into the furrows of her fingers. The curves weren't tight enough. One excuse after another on why I could do better. She loves it. Wears it daily. Won't give it up for anything. She said I can make her another, if I want, but she's keeping that ring. So maybe, just maybe, your daughter-in-law will like this piece that you think is ugly.
