Simple Trick to GET RID OF excess DIRT (Easiest way to Haul & Unload Dirt)

On today's episode I show you the easiest way to get rid of excess dirt from planting your fruit trees and veggies. All you need is some trash cans, a bucket and a pickup truck or van. For $43 you can load up any truck as much as you can fit and take it to the local landfill. Sometimes they will even take it for free if it is clean dirt with no debris. So be sure to ask you local landfill what options they have.

You need to take buckets small enough to pick up then dump them into the trash cans while they are in the truck already. Hope that makes sense. Super easy but need to be strong if you are filling buckets up full. Try half full bucket first and see how it goes.

I like this method and it does seem effortless however I'm just worried of the damage from dropping all that weight on the tailgate

Thank you, so far so good. My tailgate is amazingly strong. The steel cable can hold lots of weight.

My dump in NorCal is free if you only have dirt. I was surprised when I showed up and they just let me through!

Still not using a tripod or body mounted camera. I can find many places to get rid of excess without having to pay. Hell some places pay for fill.

Good idea with the body mounted camera. It's not always that easy but you can put an add out on craigslist for free dirt, but it's often a hassle. I usually haul it away little by little in the dumpster here my place.

Our property has nothing but clay, so every time I plant anything I have to haul the bad soil away. And bring in good soil. Luckily I have an empty dirt lot next our property. So I haul it there with a wheel barrow and dump it into holes. Couldn’t you dump it at some empty dirt lots. And save on that money?

Yeah in the city where I live you will get caught if you try dumping dirt anywhere, even a empty lot. Not worth it. Keep it up and keep switching out the clay with good soil and organic materials.

You can't really hide it anywhere, it has to be removed

You're tailgate is probably only rated to hold 300lbs. !!!! Every time you dumped those, warp goes the tailgate.

True but you would be amazed how much wear and tear I put on that tail gate. Thing still is holding up. I did replace the steel cables those last year. That holds all the weight

Ok so this man is telling farmers and shit to go to the dump and pay 50 to 60 dollars to unload dirt like if I have a whole garbage truck worth it would maybe then be worth it but just a few barrels full, no way it’s a waste

If you live in the city this is the cheapest way to get rid of dirt unfortunately. Out in the country you can drop it anywhere. City living is different.
