I agree, though for people who don't have a ton of cash you actually get a whole lot with this subscription. You get all there royalty free music and soundss - the latter of which aren't super great yet, but which are growing - plus all there audio clean-up and polishing plugins which really are pretty good. Voice Leveler alone is super helpful. I've also had pretty decent experiences with their support, which is more than I can say for some of these companies. No I'm not an Accusonus affiliate, But I have used their plugins for a while now and, especially if you aren't super technical or are on a time crunch, they do seem to be worth it.

@@funfilm77 That's actually a good thing. If you've already got assets which do all this better, or if you're knowledgeable enough to not need them much, you're actually in a great position.

@@LoneWolfAudio0524 I have some that do almost the same thing, but i really like the Accusonus stuff, just a little high for the amount someone would use it. It's not like an editing program or noise remover which most editors will use fairly often. This is a good product, just to much $$ for a small amount of usage. That just me though, maybe someone will use it more. I liked that it showed more of the features and not just the basic robot voice that was shown in the previous new release video they put out. If it was like $40 to own it outright, i would buy it, but not for $60 a year. :)

Agreed. Seems a bit meh also. Who is this aimed at? I already have a tonne of reverb plug-ins, so that's a third of this thing I don't need instantly. The blatant sales style here is so cringey.

I totally understand your frustration! In an upcoming video, I'll showcase voice changers that tackle more nuanced transformations like male to female or adult to child without resorting to simple pitch changes. AI speech to speech can do this easily now.

For real time effects you'd be better using a hardware solution. A software solution could work but would likely introduce latency as well as needing some clever sound routing within the computer.

google voice mod it can change it live and it gives you the ability to have it as an output device so you can integrate it into streaming software

At no point in time did I say this is free. I said this is available as a free trial which it is. If you wish to continue using beyond the trial then you have to purchase the plugin.

While Audition works with M1 now the same can’t be said of all plugins. I’ve seen other people ask about plugins not working in Audition on an M1 chip so maybe the same happens in Audacity.

You could use it as a pass through but it would introduce latency.

Yes, this voice changer plugin can be used in real time during live streams or recordings but it’s sadly no longer available.

This meets the minimum specifications. It may not be rapid with your specs but it should work.

Audition will run on any computer at or above minimum specifications but as with everything the higher specifications in your computer the more efficiently it will run.

You need to install the plug-in before it will appear in Audition

yeah, the entire subscription model is bunk, unless you want to be an indentured servant and pay 40 grand for a 5 dollar piece of software. only exception being heavy software packages for serious freelancers who have a specialize job. paying 80 bucks for a months usage for a 6,000 dollar piece of software is great.

Adobe CS6 holdout here. Warned many about the software subscription / rental model at the time and yet for some it was only a couple of years later when they started lamenting that they'd paid enough in subs to own the software yet still don't have their copy of it if they stop paying. Some people only learn the hard way.

Obviously the choice of operating system is entirely yours but I'd encourage you to think of upgrading as Wnidows 7 is now 20 months past end of support. Audio hardware preferences is within the Adobe Audition application, under the edit menu.
