The 6s is still a good performer, I have an original SE with the same internals. However, for not much more, you can but a second generation SE which is WAY more phone. It’s crazy how much people are selling mint or good condition 6s models for. In fact, you know you are going to have to change the matter immediately so add $50 to the cost of the 6s or even a 7 and you are right at the price of higher than an SE 2020. I went from an original SE to an SE 2020 and now have an SE2022 (SE3) and love it!!! I also have a mini 13. My SIM card is in the SE3. Love these old phone videos!

@@ballooneyjr4294 what’s the battery health percentage? If it’s lower than 80 you should change it. Anything that old will need a battery. Happened to me twice!

@@ballooneyjr4294 I have all three SE models. Right now, since watching this video, I’m using my original SE. I’m not a power user at all. But I took it off the charger at 7:30 this morning, made several calls, texts, checked my email and social media quite a bit, streamed music in my car to and from work which is 25 minutes each way and now it’s 9:51 pm and I have 48 percent. It has 96 % battery health. Not bad. The SE 3 is actually better and the SE2 is the least efficient. Personally, switching out the sim everyday is too much work for me. You have an SE? Which one? I thought you had a 6s and a mini 12? I think putting a battery in your 6s is a good idea! It’s worth the investment because that phone gets IOS 15.7 like my original SE and will last a few more years, easily. My 13 mini is just chilling in the box. I think I love the home button too much to let it go. Haha!!!

I am still using my iPhone 6s with software version 14.4.2 still working great. I didn’t update to IOS 15 because in history they slow the phone down on its last update like my iPhone 4

I just recently a few days ago replaced iPhone 6 with 11 Pro. And for the first time spend more than 100 for an iPhone. Sadly a lot is not working anymore on the 6 like some Websites etc. There is a major difference to the 6s of course because of possible iOs versions. The 11 Pro is so heavy in comparison. Still getting accustomed to it

I have an iPhone 6 Plus which I keep for sentimental value only. I jumped on the first big iPhone and I still remember being on top of the food chain with that phone. People couldn't stop staring at the gold 6 plus, they would come right up to it openly just to peep it. And the girls were very impressed with the phone

The 6 is slow as balls especially on iOS 12, 6s is still pretty good 3:50 a8 to a9 was a huge jump unlike a7 to a8, and the a7 5s got discontinued with software at the same version the a8 6 did

A8 and A7 is not any different to be honest, and the iPhone 6S especially the Plus version is atleast more usable then the 6, but this is only my opinion, if the iPhone 6 is usable to you, then it is fine :)

Why you dont update it to the ios 15 ? Free up some memory and update it it should work.. iOS 16 is not supported on iphone 6

iPhone 6s may be out dated in 2023 and bad battery life but its still a great preformer for games like roblox its a great budget phone but for battery life I would recommend buying the plus sized iPhone 6s great budget phone

iPhone 6S, especially iPhone 6S Plus, is atleast usable, unlike the iPhone 6, which is basically not any different then the iPhone 5S when it comes to the Chip processor and performance, but this is only my opinion, so let’s agree to disagree 🤝
