Okay, here is my attempt at a semi-coherent story for this reading. What are the mice eating at? With the hidden influence being the fish I'm assuming it could be a financial matter (for example: a downward turn in the stock market could erode (mice), the value of the seeker's investments; that sort of change (stork), could easily make a newcomer to investing a bit panicked and cause them quite a deal of angst (the whip). In fact our seeker may be so panicked that they would rather take the emotional route (the heart), cut their losses (the scythe), and get out while they can. That being said, they may have more mature advisor(s) (kings and queen), recommending that they wait out (lily), the current market trend since markets can be tumultuous at times, but eventually get sorted (light side of the clouds toward the fish); also values can rise and fall but none of that matters until you actually sell your shares - patience is a virtue (lily again), when playing the market. I think the tree (with the dark side of the clouds facing it), shows that the seeker may begin to suffering physical ill effects of this desire to cut and run vs. waiting matters out. However, if they can stomach the turmoil I suspect the clouds will pass and their investments will ultimately flourish in time.

This was fantastic, thank you so much 💜 I recently started laying the box spread with all 9 cards facing down, and then start by only turning over the primary diagonal (1, 5 and 9) while leaving the others face down. This gives me an instant "snapshot" insight of the answer. Next I turn over card number 7, and then proceed with the rest as I am drawn /see fit. I find this allows me to concentrate my attention on the primary diagonal without being "distracted" by surrounding cards, until I am ready to interpret them all. I hope this makes sense! It has helped me a lot.

This is SO helpful! I’m also making good use of your book as I’m practicing. So far, my practice runs have been pretty far of, making me wonder if life experience with the cards & seeing how they play out isn’t required first for reading accurately? I had this reading a friend asked for help with. She and her partner are in s kind of mobile community that moves around periodically- essentially nomadic. She’s 2 months pregnant and someone who knows her, told her they knew a secret and she’d find out the following day. She pulled a box Lenormand to figure out the secret. I got it completely incorrect even though it made sense and totally flowed at the time I read it 🤦🏻‍♀️I was really surprised at how wrong I was LOL Here’s the spread: 1 - woman 2 - ring 3 - clouds 4 - clover 5 - stork 6 - ship 7 - anchor 8 - child 9 - fish Since she was asking what the secret was and she already knew she was pregnant, I took it to mean they’d be moving due to her and the pregnancy which would be a benefit to everyone (die to the theme cards). I was totally off! Turned out the surprise was that she was pregnant with twins. It really made me question my ability to interpret the cards accurately 😅 Does it just take a long while to have accuracy?

WORKED WITH THE HEART-no recognition-the mice-3-planning to leave..last row..finishing-the sycte-with recurrent matters..to try to recover a healthy leaving-it could adapt to a health issue that is affecting emotions-the heart-very interesting spread..thank you-

Ohhh wow!! Great video...leave us hanging, you cruel woman!! Lol! Ok, so (are you sitting down for this? "Face palm"..) primary line: mice (worry, also disease) heart (abscence of ring,anchor) changes context from love and relationships to strong emotion, the Q's desires AND- or a physical heart too because mice mirrors tree.....lots of heath cards here, so now, the plot sickens: I almost think the cards are describing health setbacks and the Q's worries about changes (physical and a change of heart) pertaining to a slow recovery from illness (lily...also tree)...I can make a case for chronic, recurring (whip) and dangerous-painful (scythe) physical changes (stork). The possibility of heriditary (Lily, heart, scythe) heart disease... (attack?) whip and mice knighting clouds - possibly also breathing issues..the whip forcing the heart to work harder ... lily is also in a bad spot to bless the card under it. I read the fish not as finances but as the treatment...so, summarizing, this individual is disheartened because they're not responding to treatment (fish in hidden challenge position is unable to get the lily's full blessing) Of course, mice knighting scythe and scythe knighting fish makes me think of an injection ..these health changes could also be linked to a vaccination ( side effects due to underlying conditions- fish ) Its an all-too familiar story with almost these exact cards). But Lisa, i have one question, i have habit to read Lenormand from right to left, it's easy for my brain to comprehend the cards when i use that method, so should i change the arrangements for this spread if i read from right to left? thank you.

hi Lisa, i have a question about the narrative spread. sometimes i do a past present future sequential spread, sometimes i do a box spread with the X lines (i don't know how to name it, the classic regular box) i'm confused about for which question should we use the X lines spread or the past present future. because i see the past present future box can show the events but not very deep. and the X lines box, on the other hand, can show the influencers and hidden issues. but not very much information about what will happen. for example, the question "what will happen in my love life/career next month?"
