There are more things to do in Sarasota Florida than we had time. We could have stayed on the west side of Florida for the entire winter and really wish we had to stay in Clearwater Beach too. With Carson flying home from spring break and Season 10 starting right around the corning, we have to keep moving, but saving some for later has always been a KYD approach. In this episode, we took our stand-up paddleboards to Turtle Beach to have some fun in the water and got some great seafood from Big Water Seafood on our way home. We installed Snap Pads on the Airstream, which is a new product for Snap Pads and met-up with KYD Insiders for a Tailgate at the Sarasota Polo Field. This segment was so refreshing 🏝 🍹both on the water and off. Polo - the sport of kings, not only shows off the skill of teamwork but also the agility of the horses too. Watching Tricia grill the swordfish, made my mouth water. Hope it was as good as it looked! Safe Travels and Happy Trails KYD!

So glad you enjoyed my backyard. I love Turtle beach and the surrounding areas. There are great museums, botanical gardens and Mote aquarium. Several fish markets and great restaurants. Love living in Sarasota county.

I recently purchased a camper, mostly due to my ex stepsons asking me to be their dad and for my son. Wanting to build memories with them. I found your family, researching do's and dont's to RVing. Great. Video...I used to have an office in Sarasota & a condo on Lido Beach. When we are at Fort Myers during winter with our 5th Wheel, we still drive up to St. Armands Circle to eat at the Columbia Spanish Restaurant... Safe Travels! John & Marcia / Greenville, Ohio

Omg 😱 I was at my Alamo Heights Rotary happy hour last night and they all know how stoked I am for RVlife as I begin my adventures. I met a fellow Rotarian named Andrew who told me he’d bought an airstream in 2019 just like yours. I quickly exclaimed “ Do you know KYD ?!!!?!!!? “ he does !!!! Yay !!!! My first KYD connection!!!! No one has come out of the woodwork with our caps 🧢 yet, gotta get our T-shirt game going and this will be my Inaugural Summer To Remember-💓- so freaking EXCITED 😝 PS Andrew is ‘hitched to adventure’ on IG They named their rig Adventure- genius!

Always great to see Tory. Swaging the 70's look dude and Charlie looking lean with the new haircut. Caleb as normal great entertaining. Just bend the pads flat and save a buck. I live in Sarasota... where did you stay? Lido beach is my favorite beach... mostly for the reasons Trish noticed.... less crowded and a little older crowd... it also has The off shore Grand Prix, right off the beach, the end of June.... It is one of the best places, especially for anything Art related, to live.... going full time in June! Looking so forward to it...I have lived here since 1977! Time for a change...to make some new memories! Thanks for all that you do! You guys are The Best!

My wife and hit Turtle Beach campground on our way back from Key west last September in our Lance truck camper (we escaped Ma for a month) Turtle Beach is Definently a destination place! Definently want to go back!!

We have these oar boards which attach to the paddle board and it becomes a rowing single. So when Carson comes back to the travels he won’t miss his training. Takes up no space and easily attached.

For the feet on the stabilizers, crescent wrench or vice grips and a 4 foot pipe. Since you don’t have a work bench/vice and sledgehammer. 😊

Glad Tori was able to visit that had to be nice, hope Carson is doing great. Caleb is a great entertainer, Charlie was the happy dog so adorable. I was waiting to see Trish's toast fly off the plate but no it didn't, I grew up with the hand talkers in aunts, grandmas, etc.

I personally like the orange blocks because the LESS you have crank down the stabilizing pads, the more stable the RV. I try not to crank them down more than 4". When I used to only use one pad per stabilizer, I could still feel the RV shake... With a stack of orange blocks and only cranking down a few inches, the RV is rock solid!

The park with the canopy walk is Myakka River State Park, my favorite for camping, especially of I can get in the Palmetto Ridge area with full hookup.

Wow, the polo tailgating looks so fun! When I was a teen, my family used to tailgate at a local race track.... CAR races, on a dirt track. By the end, you were half-deaf and had dirt in your teeth. The polo looks a little more refined!

Just a little further south of Nokomis is the best town in Sarasota county VENICE!!🎉🎉🥳. But those places you mentioned are pretty sweet too. Selby,st Armand circle,, siesta,myaka state park !! I’ve just seen the advertisement for polo the last time I was on 75.

Suggestion for the stability feet. Place a piece of 2x4 under half of the foot and use a hammer to tap or adjustable wrench closed to bend the foot flat. Or, place the wood in the center and pry both sides down at the same time. By the the way Eileen and I have friends in Bradenton and we have been to Leto beach several times. Parking can be a problem. But is some of the best sand anywhere.

If you plan to return in the future, check out Fort DeSoto located north of the Skyway bridge in St Pete. You have to make your reservations starting 6 months in advance. Located on the water and it’s a County park/campground.
