Simply Good Chicken Casserole Fast and Easy Recipe
Simply Good Chicken Casserole
3 or 4 chicken breast cooked and cut into bite size pieces
1 (10 ounce) can of cream of chicken soup
1 (10 ounce) can of cream of mushroom soup
8 ounces of sour cream
2 sleeves of Ritz crackers crushed
¼ cup of butter melted
Salt and pepper to taste
Boil chicken for 12 minutes and then cut into bite size pieces
Spray a 7 X 11 casserole dish
Spread one sleeve of the Ritz crackers on bottom of dish
Combine chicken, soups, sour cream in a bowl
Spread over the bottom layer of crackers
Salt and pepper lightly to taste
Spread another sleeve of crackers on top
Drizzle with the melted butter
Bake at 325 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes
Cover with foil in the last 10 minutes to keep it from getting to dark
Let cool for a few minutes before serving
Serve and Enjoy !!!

I do something quiet like your dish except I put steamed broccoli on top of the chicken soup mixture and top it with french fried onions.

I've made this cassarole before & it's so DELICIOUS I don't put the crackers on the bottom because it becomes soggy after a while and for the top I mix the butter and crackers together and sprinkle over the top 😋 happy anniversary to you too

One of my family's favorite is chicken casserole. I have never tried it with Ritz crackers though but I do make a brocolli casserole with Ritz crackers that is my sisters recipe.

I don't know where your from but I got into trouble every day of my life as a kid from my beloved Kentucky mammaw for making to much RACKET. I got my HIND END BLISTERED for it too. I am now twice her age..... hahaha or that is how it feels anyway. Oh and I am going to try this casserole tonight and carrots with brown sugar, ORANGE JUICE (what?) and butter. Oh boy!

Cornbread, Marie bought the kittens for her grandmother years ago when she lived in the highrise on Fifth Avenue. After her grandmother passed, Marie got them. I make this casserole but I put a layer of cooked rice on the bottom instead of a layer of crackers. I do put crackers on the top.

I bought the white cats at the Hallmark store in the mall over 30 years ago. I gave them to my grandmother as a Christmas gift. When she passed away I got them back. I still love my little kitten's.

Marie I don’t believe I have seen you make this casserole before., have you make a cabbage casserole before .? My husband didn’t like fried yellow squash, but he liked them in a casserole, I think that was strange, he didn’t like fried green tomatoes, now I think that was real strange. There’s not very many foods that I don’t like. Growing up we were taught to learn to like all foods. God bless
