To me. These 1994 pulse live versions are some of the best live music you will ever hear. Combined with the lights and stage set up with the back up vocalists. Who could not love this. ??? 😊

Pink Floyd. LIVE. Nuff said. Mason and Wright were geniuses along w/- Waters and Gilmour. There will never be another group like them in history. Iconic.

Dude,Pink Floyd's music is my soul mate. I seen the Pulse tour twice. First in Miami then in Tampa. Cried from joy listening to Dave play Shine On You Crazy Diamond.

So happy you're diving into Pink Floyd's legacy, thank you. In the credits you'll notice the name of the wizard behind the look of what you saw during a Pink Floyd/David Gilmour show, Marc Brickman Concert Production and Lighting Designer. He's been their lighting director for ever. I've seen them live 3 times, twice in '88 and once in '92, and every show was visually mind blowing. During the 'Momentary Lapse of Reason' tour, they had a mock-up of a WW2 bomber fly in over the audience on a wire and crash onstage with the sound of a plane going down and all the pyrotechnics, that was in 1988, it really was something to see.

Next is One of These Days by PULSE concert. Fun fact David said they use lights to help with the show is because they said that watching them play is boring they don't jump or move around they stand and play. They discovered how boring they are.

Love seeing someone experiencing Floyd for the first time. You should definitely check out David Gilmour performing Echoes at Gdansk - it's absolutely mesmerising

I too enjoy how happy they all look while playing and it's like that through this whole concert. I can only imagine they feel the audience's love for them and the music and that comes through in the music and it's a big circle. I also love how they amped everyone up before setting them loose from this concert. I was at the show in Washington DC in 1994 when I was 20 years old. I'm 50 now and to this day it was still the best concert I've ever attended, and its not even close. That says something about how great that band was. My wife just bought me a ticket to see David Gilmour in Los Angeles in the fall, I hope it brings back some of those great memories.

Division Bell Tour was awesome. My wife and I went to this show and my unborn son definitely felt this concert at the Oakland Coliseum.

The Pulse concert was based on A Delicate Sound of Thunder tour. I saw this in 1988 at Thebarton Oval in Adelaide. Unbelievable

I always enjoy when young people 'discover' PF. This show is 30 years old and is still a stunner. The band was always on the cutting edge for both musical composition and stage performance. Here, you are seeing musicians at the apex of their skills. That stage show alone cost 25 million in 1994. Consider listening to the entire 'Dark Side of the Moon' album--you will better understand why it remained on the Billboard listing for years and years. This concert also included a live performance of DSOTM--which is why it is so long.

Seeing them and this live, when it ends you are elated and overwhelmed and your brain is still trying to come to terms with it ending and what now, its a life Changing concert! really incredible!

Such a high energy song... The 'Pulse' version is superior to the studio "Wall" version. Another huge favorite of mine... glad you enjoyed it.

This was the final encore from this concert. They came back out and played this AFTER Comfortably Numb! Talk about an epic show, holy freakin' smokes, what a way to end a concert!

Pink Floyd closed the concert with this song. It was their encore. I was there in May 1994. Guy Pratt the bassist killed it with his vocals too.

I've been listening to them for 36 years and these tracks still give me grit in the eye and a grin on my face.

I went to see them live at Earls Court in London the same week they recorded this concert and it was incredible. We were in the middle of the venue and you could feel the heat from the fireworks at the end.

I think we paid about $150.00 a ticket during this tour in the US - Columbus Ohio. These folks got, as we did, our money's worth!!

David stacks his effects so his echoes have echoes and his overdrives have overdrives. His guitar rig for the 1994 tour was itself a work of art.

I was there. It is still one of the top ten experiences in my life. :-) Ya just can't fully appreciate it from a video, but fkn A man. SO good. What i always tell people is, you cannot appreciate the sound production they put out. Best sound of any concert i ever seen. Its just incredible. :-)

I was at the Foxboro Massachusetts show. A slight mistake in the air absolutely mesmerizing. Coming back to life is an excellent track from this show.

Saw them at the HHH Metrodome in Minneapolis Minnesota on this tour. Still ranks as my top concert experience ever. And I was stone sober at 23 years old. It was absolutely unreal. Might I suggest "One of These Days" off the Delicate Sound of Thunder live album?

I was there,2nd night,Earls Court,west London,oct ‘94. Everyone coming out after the show were kind of stunned at what had all just witnessed. The tube was buzzing with “that’s changed my life” kind of vibe. Been to hundreds and hundreds of gigs due to work,and THIS is the best I’ve ever seen. The final bang made everyone jump a foot in the air. Magnificent.

When a radio station in Adelaide first started, called SSAFM originally, THIS was their signature track! Became better known as SAFM with one Adam Hills as a presenter.... Many moons ago. So many memories!

I was at this show. I was 20 uears old... It was f**king magical. Pink Floyd takes you places you didn't know existed.

the Pulse concert was in 94 but the album "The Wall" (which this song was on) came out in 79...

The instrumental part of this song was used extensively on TV, film and adverts in the 80's. Lots of people have heard it without realising it was PF.

Like all the best art, some of the greatest songs like this seem to have always existed, part of the eternal fabric of space and time. We get to truly cherish them in our lifetime; it doesn’t really matter when.

Great reaction to a fantastic live performance! For what it's worth, although Pink Floyd is no longer, David Gilmour is working on a new solo album (the bassist here, Guy Pratt, is also involved). Hopefully, if and when it is released, David will tour. He last toured as a solo artist in 2016, and I was fortunate to attend the show in Chicago. He played his solo songs along with the Pink Floyd classics and still sounded great at 70 years old! If you ever want to react to David performing more recently, I suggest his performance of 'Comfortably Numb, live in Pompeii, 2016."

1994 , my son was 2 years old, I was 35 and a loyal PF fan since I was 13. I am now 66 and consider myself to be fortunate enough to have them still as my number 1 go to for the very best in top quality music. Not surprisingly my sons favourite band is PF. I've brought him up well. Oh.....I was at the Pulse tour in 1994.

Saw this tour in Atlanta, the lights during this song were blinding, especially those rotating lights along the bottom of the stage

I was 32 in 1994 and saw two nights of the Earls Court run, it was 13 or 14 shows I think, David looks happy and having fun as Run Like Hell is the last encore and they have got through a long and complex performance and these shows were the end of the Division Bell World Tour, contrary to what many think the Pulse reference is actually the concert film title for the DVD and VHS release.

Fascinating tidbit from the 1994 Pink Floyd tour: Gilmour and Mason served as producers, but interestingly, Rick Wright earned $10,000 per show. Surprisingly, despite Gilmour and Mason facing significant losses post-tour, Rick Wright ended up with millions in his pocket. I personally attended two out of the three Toronto shows, where, as the audience settled in, sound effects from their early albums, like the echoing gallops of horses, enveloped the arena. These equine sounds were ingeniously visualized through their advanced multi-channel sound system.

I have been a fan of them since 1981, I was 11 years old. I was also fortunate enough to see them live in 86, or 87. Music from The Wall album should be taken in context of the whole story in the album. Even though much of it is relatable to many people, there's a lot more to it. I advise watching the movie, too. I'm happy to see that more people are enjoying their great works of art. Salute!

I saw them 4 times. The first time I had never heard the songs before. My heart almost exploded out of my chest. I saw them in 94 as well in New Jersey. There literally was a full moon over the stadium as they played from Dark Side of the Moon. Check out their concert from South America in 2015. The audience knew every word of every song. So much fun as they sang sometimes with tears in their eyes.

This song was actually released in 1980. Many of the songs performed at Pulse were released way before 1994. Everyone there was treated to a show unmatched by anyone as far as I’m concerned.

No Cell phones in the audience. Every person among 10s of 1000s of Fans bonding together in these extraordinary moments of their lives, altogether connecting with the Band and revelling in the music with their Sonic Superheroes! Luckily, this entire performance was captured on Film to be replayed, remembered and enjoyed for decades to come, attracting and inspiring millions of fans both old and new. Its the communally shared experience to be in the audience that made Rock Concerts such a positive and uplifting experience to be celebrated and cherished. This is in stark contrast to public performances today, where EVERYONE in the audience has their hand in the air taking in the experience via their tiny viewing screens. I much prefer taking in 360° and the entire spectacle with both eyes wide open!

The brilliant final song in the "Pulse" gig - look at the whole thing from start to finish without a break, you won't regret it. The Floyd rabbit hole is so deep.

They never toured much. Their vision makes their compositions as much like stage shows as live performances. This song is from their album, *The Wall* (1979), which is a full rock opera. The accompanying tour only did 10 performances, I believe, and a command performance atop the Berlin Wall when it was torn down. The stage show cost more than they charged and I don't believe they ever filmed it, as it was intended specifically for live performances. So they tried to capture the essence of their vision in a film version of the stage show story, *Pink Floyd's -- The Wall* (1982). It uses the Cold War as an analogy of the central character Pink's dysfunctional life and his ultimate painful awakening to a greater world. You should see the movie.

Always enjoy the Pink Floyd reactions, can’t get enough. I saw them in concert May 1988 in Kansas City. It was an epic performance, also the show was an outside venue and was over 3 hours long. I have to say besides them Led Zeppelin in 1977 was hands down the best. Great reaction keep them coming.

Don’t beat yourself up about not finding Pink Floyd earlier in life , atleast you found them. It’s always a good thing to discover a band you enjoy , now get the word out to your friends! My best friend turned me on to Pink Floyd when we were juniors in high school. She had an older sister who was into them. The music takes me back to the best times of my life. ❤
