These maps are pretty cool. I can see a way to do a 3D Dropper in SMO. Make it so the death areas are poison and you can have different levels of difficulty by removing Cappy or forcing Mario into different captures.

I love how half of this video is just Smallant being Smallant. 1. Gets through the rising lava without damage boosting. 2. Completed the dropper on the second try. 3. Already knew how to get the Paragoomba as high up as possible. 4. Screenshotted the invisible path to make it easier. Somehow it's both infuriating and extremely entertaining seeing how good this guy is at video games 😫

My suspicion was that smallant was being sarcastic since it seems like there’s usually a decent delay between when stuff gets recorded on fir’s streams vs when they show up on youtube (sometimes over a month). I don’t think they streamed this though so I could be wrong. Could mean there’s another video in the works if my guess is right though

The custom moon/hint art genre of Odyssey videos is so fun and these were particularly devious. Also psyched to hear smant dropping hints about making some himself to go with the ones fir and cj have done (sneaky paragomba platforming included)

Not going to lie, until that dropper one, I was sure Smant was losing this. Then he got that so quickly and it was all over from there on. EDIT: Honestly, I am curious though, on these types of challenges in the future could we get some sort of post game list of how long everyone took on each section for context?

I don't have the exact times but I think tyron was only a minute behind smallant entering the final challenge. Cj was substantially further behind but had much less trouble on the final moon compared to Tyron.

Yeah, as great as the edits shortening things is, it makes it next to impossible to tell how anyone did on individual parts. It'd be nice to have the results show the times for individual sections as well as the final time.

As someone who was rooting for smant in this, it got _real_ encouraging when I started to mostly see clips of cj and Tyrone. That meant that smant was so far ahead that, if you wanted to keep the narrative roughly parallel for all three perspectives (which is the usual method for this kind of video), you had to limit the amount of times you showed his perspective until the other two perspectives caught up to where he was.

Fir is so good at talking to them during this and escape rooms and stuff. Makes me remember back to the room that had a ton of stuff in it but it just opened on a timer and he lead them all to trying to figure out how to open the door even though there was nothing they could do.

It was funny how in the Cap Kingdom moon, the other two were confused and trying to figure out how to get the needed height... but Smallant already immediately knew the strategy, so he's practically absent from that segment until CJ and Tyron catch up.

Honestly, I think there might be something for doing Custom Co-op Moons/Escape Rooms. Having to do things like use a Scarecrow to let the other player platform. Not positive if it's all networked to work like that, but I think the idea could be fun.
