I feel like I was just hypnotised for a full hour and forty one minutes. Simply Red is brilliant. Todays so called singers and bands could learn so much from these guys. So glad I lived my prime through the 80s.

Mick has one of the most well preserved voices in modern music history! He’s incredible vocally- sounds just as strong if not stronger then 40 years ago! Mind boggling.

WOW! Mick Hucknall's voice is still strong and beautiful...even in his "older" years! Actually, Mick is only 8 years older than me so, I'm "older", too. Hehehe! I was in 12th grade (senior year) in high school in the U.S. when Simply Red's #1 hit, Holding Back The Years was released around April-May 1986 and I've loved the band Simply Red ever since. Mick Hucknall has such a unique and amazing voice...once of the finest voices I've ever heard and it seems he follows his heart and soul! JUST AMAZING how his voice hasn't changed at all! I've also seen a couple of interviews with Mick on t.v. talk shows and just love how he always praises his father. It sounds like Mr. Hucknall was an amazing man. I've been a fan of Simply Red since the beginning and I'm definitely still a fan!

Hell yah! I was 10 years into my US Navy career and was at USNaval Station Key West and jamming to Simply Red when I first purchased my "early tech CD" of them. Mick is still a favorite of my wife and I. Great memories.

Mick‘s voice isn‘t one bit less strong or beautiful live than it is in studio recordings. He’s a rare, wild, irresistible talent!!! I adore him, his music and his band. He had my heart with ‚Holding back the years‘ and the whole ‚Picture Book‘ album and I seem to love him more and more and more. I keep going to their concerts and be filled with so many emotions. ❤❤❤

So I watched this for the first time 2 nights ago (6th July 2022) I enjoyed it so much, and here I am again. He sings TO his audience, he smiles to each and every one of them. He has a special aura around him, an incredible voice. Each song is sung clearly and they are all like listening to really interesting personal stories and his life and his love for his loved ones. His whole concert is like going on a special journey. He has a gorgeous smile too. ☺️🙂. And let’s take a moment for his incredibly talented band members, wow. Qq

Dear posterity, this is what we used to call music, in its purest form..the musicianship displayed here is pure art, no false note, no wrong tone, studio quality..chapeau, I bow to you ladies and gentlemen..the cherry on the cake, Mick pure heart and soul, with his voice better than ever..a huge surprise, the big number of views (still much to low, if you're asking me) in these strange times, also musicaly..

What makes this band last so long and be so relevant today still is because even live, he sounds like what he recorded. People don’t want to go to a concert to hear their favorite songs and then it winds up being something different sounding. His voice is still so strong and beautiful. I have always loved Simply Red. I enjoyed this concert very much! ❤

“Holding Back The Years” was the 1st song I heard by Simply Red. From that point on I was a life long fan. Fantastic vocals, the band is great. Love SIMPLY RED!!!

Me too. I bought Picture Book on tape to play in my car and wore it out. Had to buy the vinyl and record it onto a blank tape so I could still listen on road trips :-) Can't believe that's 35 years ago!!

It`s so beautiful to sit here, watching and listening.....now i`m 50 and i miss the 80S so so much. Simply Red is a part of my life in this time and still. I will start by saying that I am always impressed by the fact that despite having several changes in the formation of the band Simply Red has always maintained an identity, which would say the band's trademark! Mick Hucknall you impress personality, style, quality and youth in your work! magnificent! I feel very young watching and listening to this show. Bravo, very brief. 40 years to come, lots of health

simply red and mick hucknall are the masters of music. yes, there are a lot of good bands out there, but simply red cannot be beaten, for class, musical mastery and soul. mick still gives me goosebumps every time i hear him. wish they'd come back.

Every once in a while you scroll down on KZfaq and there he is Mick from Simply Red ⁉️ It is then that you immediately stop scrolling and you have to listen to him.as he draws you in as he sings , any type of song from blues to Jazz to rock and roll 🥐 and After hearing that magnificent voice you are swept away 🥰🥰🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️

Got "simply" hooked on Simply Red in the 80's. But, their music is timeless + the musicality of what they do to music, is phenomenal + classic. . Thanks KZfaq for concert ❤ phenomenal

Simply Red ages like the finest wine... simply delicious in every sense of the word... being at one of their concerts it's like reading a compelling novel, or dreaming awake, or enjoying one of those trascendental movies on a cold saturday afternoon while curled up in a comfy couch wrapped around you coziest blanket... it does not get any better!

Avoir été un groupe des années 80 avec autant de succès et se retrouver 30 ans après avec un tel niveau c'est magnifique c'est des artistes tout simplement il n'en font pas trop c'est simplement juste sans artifice démesuré des artistes comme on les aime loin des concerts où on vous mets plein la vue mais où tout est faux le play back le micro pour chanter juste le groupe simply red est et restera pour moi un des meilleurs groupes avec un chanteur à la voix exceptionnelle

I have seen Simply Red every time they have come to Australia since the 80’s. They hold a very special place in my heart. My family even got to be in the video clip Home, a big highlight in my life. To Mick and his wonderful crew, you are impeccable entertainers. Can’t wait until you can come back xxxx
