My favorite part about Chaos Emperor Dragon Envoy of the End is the typo in the card effect towards the bottom. Me and my friends bought another pack to see if it was the same across all of them and it was indeed on that one as well and every other one we came across amongst other players hahah.

Wow. Nostalgia to the absolute maximum. I recall the time when this came out and I was home sick from school in bed, I was like 9 or 10. An my dad ran down to the store to pick up some food. When he got back he had cracked open my door and was like “I know you’re not feelin so hot so I snagged this to cheer ya up”. The dude straight up threw it at my face, and let me tell you it was worth the bruise. My guy: the third pack I pulled had Dark Magician of Chaos. It was my first “main card” from the front of a pack. And let me tell you, I still remember that crispy smell too.

I still remember back then when i pulled the Secret Rare of Chaos Emperor Dragon from a booster. My friend most of the time won his matches because of his Blue Eyes but i didnt tell him i pullen Emperor and we didnt even know about this card. Then i played against him and he was like :" Go Blue Eyes ! What youre gonna do now ? You lose yet again." And i didnt say anything and just Summoned Emperor and smiled. Then he was like :" What the F ist this ?" My answer was :" Read his ability and then go down on your knees and beg for mercy." x,D

i have not seen one of those invasion of chaos special editions in so long. i forgot that they even released it. this made me so happy. I remember going to waly-mart and buying like 2-3 of them at a time almost every week.

Me being an old school yugioh player, I actually own that very same limited edition chaos emperor dragon from back in the day and used it in a dragon link deck to win for game recently.

I know I've been watching for quite some time and would like to see some of those awesome classics graded and just exactly what it takes to get a graded 10. Keep up the good work! Oh wow. I didn’t realize the IOC special edition was that old. I bought a box back in 2018, maybe 2017 for about $70. I hadn’t bought anything in a while and figured it was all basically just pricey reprints. Fortunately I still haven’t opened it and now that I know it’s a real classic box, I’ll definitely hold onto it. I was tempted before but not now lol. Turns out it was early 2018 and I paid $45. It’s still relatively cheap imo for what I’d consider a collectors item, I think they go for around $100+ now. Not too too bad.

I dont collect Yu-Gi-Oh cards anymore, not since i was a child, but honestly i love watching pack openings.

Long time fan here, it is so amazing to see how far you have come man! I am just curious, for like grading purposes I assume you want the cards to be handled the least amount possible. Have you ever considered gloves such as tattoo artists? Or does it matter that much.

Man I feel old. I'm 28 now and I remember being a kid and going to target and walmart on my bike with my friend, seeing those special editions and trying hard with my allowance to get one. Later on, I remember seeing them scattered about through the store and being on sale. I wish I bought more back then haha!

You should open the packs in a kinda dark room with a bright light facing the cards to make the holographic cards shine like crazy. That would look interesting. Or something like that.

I remember when IOC was the hot new set back in the day. Bought loads of packs back then and only pulled garbage. Funnily enough, the one holo I DID pull was Insect Princess. The colours are really nice on the card and her shadow is pretty evil/sinister too. It's one of my favourite sets for sure but I prefer Pharaonic Guardian overall for the dark, Egyptian art.

Wish I had all those first edition Magicians Force packs I opened back because I opened up I know a 36 pack box, 24 pack box, and MANY single packs and I ended up with ZERO Dark Magician Girls! So in my experience 100 packs didn't get you a Dark Magician Girl! People are asking $10000 to $15000 for those boxes now on ebay it almost makes me sick to think about..... I agree with you about the amount of foils between the older and newer Special Editions because I know I opened many of the older ones and didn't get a foil out of the three packs many times but when they started putting a Regular Rare in every pack even if you got a foil the foils seem to have gotten easier to get all around in the Blister packs and Special Editions.. in my opinion anyway. I'll say this though if this guy thinks he's UNLUCKY then I'm SUPER UNLUCKY because every time I watch this guy open packs he ends up getting great cards and as I was saying I've opened 100's of packs of some sets trying for that one hard to get card and end up with every rare card but the one I wanted.... I liked buying the whole box of Special Editions because as I said above I open many of them that didn't have a foil card at all and I remember it was especially bad with the Light/Dark Special Edition packs that come with the Honest Limited Edition card and a pack of Light of Destruction, Phantom Darkness, and Tactical Evolution! I opened 20-25 of them and the foil ratio was very low in those packs or least they were for me.... at least if you bought the whole box you were guaranteed to get how ever many that was supposed to be in a box but buying one three pack box you always had the chance of getting one of the boxes that didn't have a foil.
