This is 3400 PSI, 2.5 GPM. I bought this from Home Depot last year.

I agree that the Simpson is much more expensive but I paid $650 for this, not $1000. Also, this particular model has a CAT Pump and the ratings are not inflated.

But out of curiosity, I decided to look up the Champion units that you keep going on about. The only Champion unit that I found for $400 that is 3,200 psi like you stated doesn't even have a Honda engine and has a pump that no one has heard of. Now please show me a Champion pressure washer with a Honda GX engine and a CAT pump for less than $700 because it seems like you're better at finding the good deals than I am.

They may work great for a few years for your average home owner but sooner or later the crappy axial pump will take a poop and you are SOL. You might as well replace the whole thing. With this, especially if you are running the living piss out of it, it will fire up and run and run and run every time. Then after hundreds and hundreds of hours of abuse in its service life when the pump has wear, it can easily and cheaply be rebuilt and put back into service after hundreds of more hours of use.
