Hey guys and welcome back to my channel! In today's video we are taking a look at the wonderfully updated Sunset Valley by @Plumbob95 ! When I tell you that I am in LOVE with this updated version of Sunset Valley I mean it. This world overview does not do this world justice. Thank you so much for looking through the world! I really hope you enjoy playing in it when you get around to it. It took me so long to renovate as I put so much love into it as sunset valley has such a special place in my heart but I think it was so worth it. ♥️

I have a old hp laptop and I’m shocked my game still runs bc I put it thru hell but my god this world is gorgeous and I use sunset valley for every save I do for my simstagram and if I can use a new version ima be more in love with sunset valley 🤭

This reminds me that I gotta make some fixes and tweaks to my little mermaid world and then finally make it able to download for others. I used references from both films to make a sims 3 world based on it. It's really pretty. But gotta fix it up. Just watching a world review made me remember of my own world that's been like 2 years on my pc and can only be seen in my videos lol. There's just stuff I need to fix, and things to change and add after playing with the world in my videos( for the first time.), and totally put it off until I forgot!

I play on an iMac while running Windows so not the cheapest option tbh. If you can get a good gaming laptop for a reasonable price go for it but TS3 runs better on a desktop in my opinion.

You can always replace the edited Sims with their originals or change out the builds with hers in a normal Sunset Valley save 🙂

i love sims 3 but i get mad when it crashes because of my content

yes I love sims 3 but it can be very unstable at times. if you don't already have it, i recommend the saver mod from Nraas. It prompts you to save your game every hour (or you can change the time) that way you don't lose too much gameplay if your game crashes

Where do all those files go in the mods folder?? Like where does an .nhd file go?

You don't remove anything from the folder. You take that entire folder called "PlumbobUPDATEDsv.sims3" and place it in your Saves folder. So Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 3>Saves. Then when you launch your game look for the Save titled PlumbobUPDATEDsv!

which one are you using? I use fresh cut day from brntwaffles. if you have it installed in your mods folder correctly and it's still not showing up, then try deleting the cache files in your sims 3 folder

I'm glad you enjoyed ❣to play in this save file you need to take the entire folder called "PlumbobUPDATEDsv.sims3" and place it into the TS3 folder called Saves. let me know if you still can't access it after trying this

this is so amazing!!! thanks for the video!💗 i don’t have all the stuff packs, do you think i’ll be able to play with it? like, will the game just replace the objects from the stuff packs with the ones i’ve got? (i have all ep!)

yes the game will replace all the items from packs you don't have but keep in mind that because of this, when you first load up the game it may lag a lot depending on how many items are missing and need to be replaced. normally when the game replaces objects it will use objects from the base game. it should be okay after a sim day or two.

In this video I'm using the Fresh Cut Day lighting mod from brntwaffles! I think the 2.5 version with Isla Paradiso water.

I don't see how it would conflict. Seasons works no matter if you're using an EA created world or custom world. You need all expansions for the world to work correctly anyway.

@@NonRevSims In the Seasons expansion, there's a themed park festival in each season. I've noticed that the park square has been aesthetically modified, so I asked if there could be any conflict with this mod.

@@angelp.3924I haven't played with it during the festivals so I can't say for sure. You could always save the normal version of the park in SV and replace this updated park with the normal one just in case

thank you!! I don't remember the original configuration but I purchased one of the last ones before the M1s were announced. a friend changed out a few of the components and the only thing I know off the top of my head is that it has 24gb of ram. will check and get you the full specs when I can

your documents folder > the sims 3 > saves. take the folder that you download and drag the whole thing to your saves folder. when you get in your game to choose your household to play, choose the save named PlumbobUPDATEDsv. it will be a blank photo like the photo on my household the same way mine looks at the beginning of this video.

I am so confused right now bc I have a mac and I want to delete sims4 and install windows on my mac just to play sims 3 (sims3 for mac is a crap so I have to get the windows) I miss sims 3 so much, I played it from when I was 8 to 14 😭

They recently made a sims 3 64 but version and it runs so great on macs!!! I have a MacBook Air and it literally runs like a dream on origin

do you have an intel or M1 mac? if you have an intel you can use Bootcamp to install windows (there's lots of tutorials on here that are super easy to follow) if you have an M1 I believe you would have to use Parallels to run Windows. I'm not too sure about that process because I'm still using Intel Macs.

@@awesomegal182 the 64 bit version definitely runs better than the original ts3 on Mac but I looooove Island Paradise and the issue with the water interactions still hasn't been fixed. until they fix it, i have to play on windows but I'm happy it runs well for you!! such a difference from the original struggle of playing ts3 on mac 😊
