In this The Sims 4 tutorial I explain a base game way to create round pools and round pool decks. This CC free tutorial is a perfect way to create unique looking pools without having to use any packs. These pools are the perfect eyecatcher for any Sims 4 mansion or house. The pools are fully functional and look great at the same time. Let your Sims enjoy these wonderful pools which will make their houses look even better!

When I try to use the pool tool as step shown in 9:08, it doesn't allow me to draw around the round part.

So I definitely just tried to do exactly this, and the fountain refused to go into the bottom of the pool with bb.moveobjects on. Did they break this ability with one of the updates or something? The fountain was staying on top of the water and I couldn't use 0 to lower it.

hi, Kate. question: is there a workaround to see the deck when you are on the first floor? it seem it is only possible to see the deck when you are on the second floor since it comes from a room built on the second floor

Sims 4 doesn't have spiral stairs and I highly doubt we'll get them anytime soon...

Seriously, How is a curved or round pool not available in the base game already? do we have to wait for everything to come in a pack? EA doesn't care about their games more than the customers' wallets.

The new curved pool expansion pack coming in August 27 which comes with 3 new male hairs 5 female hairs AND COMES WITH A NEW CURVED POOL

It's not gonna look pretty but this video gave me inspiration to create a billiards pool table swimming pool. Always wanted to create something like that but never thought about doing so for the Sims before.

Luv your work, simply amazing. I have a quick question for you (or anyone else that knows). When I do the overhanging platform it always stays on the 2nd level. When I click on the down arrow to go to main level it disappears. I notice that in your video it's both on the main floor & 2nd. What am I doing wrong?

6:44 Unless we're building a hobbit-hole. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: but a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort.

I have a question: how do you delete items that you place quickly when your building and you don't want to drag the sledgehammer.? Also, deleting items that are in the sims household inventory?

It won't let me connect to a house, even though the foundation levels are the same it says it can't connect blocks with different levels?

Yes you can totally do that! You can either put the height of both foundations on the same level and connect them (When two foundation pieces have the same level this weird white line appears) or you simply expand the foundation from the house or pool and then build the rest. In case there are two different foundation levels you could always connect them with stairs if you are going for that look! :) Hope this was clear!
