In this Sims 4 tutorial I explain tricks for the brand new stilt foundations that were added to the game in a free base game update on June 18. The stilt foundations are perfect for building beach houses but even without Island Living these foundations offer a huge amount of new building options. I came up with a couple of creative ideas to use these stilt foundations in a unique way.
I figured out a way to create a completely circular floating piece of foundation and other cool tricks!
As always I did not use any CC or mods and you don't need any cheats for this tutorial. This tutorial is base game compatible.
Have fun building wonderful mansions and houses for your Sims with these amazing stilt foundations! :)

Going to test to see if we can put a pool in the rectangle example you gave w/ stilts surrounding a solid foundation!!! 🧐🤔

when you did that big circle one you could have put the back half with a big fence and a circle roof and it would be like a nice place to relax in the shade.

Before this update, I used columns to create stilted stairs- I got them to sit at the right height by adding them to existing first floor rooms, raising/lowering them, and deleting the floor after raising the terrain. It was a complicated little process- I'm glad we have real stilted foundation now, it makes connecting rooms so much easier :D

Thanks for this! I wanted to know because I’m planning on building a beach house on stilts and I wanted to to make it a Air bnb house even though we don’t have like vacation homes but I think it would still be fun !!
