@@itsgbi alright i tested the round pool with the fountain thing and it does work, you have to make sure the fountain is the right level tho, raise it up until it's just over the surface, then it works, if it's higher than that it doesn't

They updated the game and changed some features, like the foundation used on the first pool to make it transparent was updated, but it’s still there under a different name. It seems to be titled Foundation_GENshell placeholder name and it’s the only solid grey square in the base game foundation list. If you filter for only base game you should be able to find it. I don’t know if it was renamed or if the creator of this video had her game set to a different language (it’s a name made up for game developers to catalogue items, so it’s sort of nonsense to everyone else in any language; just looks different). Unfortunately, it didn’t work for me, but that is probably because I built a custom indoor infinity pool on the second floor. Since it’s not on the ground, it’s not technically a room to which a foundation can be applied, so for this technique, at least it seems not to work. That doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t work for you.

@@SIMSTOPIA А всё, начал шарить, ты снимаешь стоп мотионы. Спидбилды удобней, хотя ты уже сказала что по 1001 раз всё перестраиваешь. Ну сетка нужна, тем более если монтаж не просто ведёшь стенку, а как расширяющияся комната.

1:40 You don't have to draw a fence around the pool just to apply foundation to the pool edges. Hold down Shift to apply foundation to one side at a time. :) Love your base game videos. Your Sim is so lucky to swim in those luxurious pool designs!

I think shift applies it to a room, and alt applies it to a wall. I'm not 100% certain though.
