This song is about the body and blood of Jesus Christ. Two significant aspects of his death. Jesus, your BODY was wounded for our transgressions (our disobedience, our violation of your commands and precepts) and it was bruised for our iniquities ( unrighteousness). Your BLOOD was shed for the remission ( forgiveness , pardon) of our sins.. And by your stripes Jesus.... everyone single one that oozed blood on mount Calvary; we ARE healed. Thank you Jesus. Praise God after listening to your worship songs I felt a new level of worship too in my life. A state of worshipping God for who He is instead of doing alot of binding and loosing the enemy. This has really propelled me to a new level in the Spiritual realm and I feel it that my God went to Calvary and gave his very best. What a matchless love displayed in that tree!
